root down
It is a treat to watch him in sync with the OC and players and the Team moving the ball. I will never doubt another personel move made by TD.

keithbrooking56
Its not often when I am just totally off on a prediction on a player but Matt Ryan looks like the next great QB. I never thought I'd say we could see a QB in Atlanta better than Bartkowski but we have a contender in Ryan.

keithbrooking56
If Ryan passes the 3000 yard make, correct me here, but won't he be the first Falcon to throw for over 3000 since Chandler did it in 98 on the way to the SB?
Falconsfan567
You would be correct. Vick came close in 2002 but he ended up 50 or so yards short.I would be shocked if he doesn't do it.

chifalc
Wow. A 89.9 QB rating and a 2/1 touchdown to interception ratio for a rookie is FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC .Minus that one nine pass stretch at the beginning of Tampa its ben something like a 96 QBR, 11/3 ration, and over sixty percent completion.(Again, I still think the QBR is a vastyl overrated stat)

I mean it takes all the passing stats and puts them into 1 stat. I just don't understand how that is overrated.
keithbrooking56
I just think its amazing we've went 10 years without a quarterback who could throw for at least 3000 yards.

keithbrooking56
I mean seriously. I know Vick was a runner first but just think about how low a total 3000 passing yards is. Its really not that great of an accomplishment in a 16 game schedule. But ten YEARS? Technically its 11 seasons since Chandler was the 97/98 season and this is the 08/09 season. An entire decade of extremely minimal production from the passing game. Unreal.

That only averages out to 188 yards a game. How many QBs average 188 yards a half?

Remarkable
I think we made it clear we were talking about passing. Rushing yards are just as good (if not better) than passing yards.
