heyydanny
my friend is a raiders fan and even tho the raiders arent doing so well, he tells me about how the qbs they face never or barely throw to his side. I don't know if Nmandi is #1 still in the espn rankings in passes thrown to but he is probably in my opinion the best corner in the NFL right now. clownorg
He is the best CB in the game right now (Champ is Injured which makes it an easy call). And Hall will Have a chip on his shoulder playing against his former team.So.. Run Turner Run
g-dawg
Roddy fears no one. All will be well.although comical and also correct - don't forget this - "DeAngelo against whomever" should be a GREAT match-up for us....
miKevicK777
halls no joke eitherraiders have a very solid secondary, we will need to pound the ball with turner and make hall bite on play action
SiViK_OuTkAsT™
I am not knocking their CB ability. I am simply stating Roddy's.
The Don™
Raiders secondary is good. We HAVE to run the ball.
The Don™
I have a feeling Hall will get emotional and cost the Raiders some penalties. I assume Nnamdi will be on Roddy, and Hall will be on Laurent(I think this will be Laurent's first big game this season)
clownorg
I have a feelig Hall will get emotional and cost the Raiders some penalties.Only if we set him off somehow.Once he loses his cool we can poke at him all game long. Just have to rattle him real good one time
Shaud
Roddy had a great game yesterday in a game where Brown,Samuels, and Sheppard matched up against him. All 3 are good corners. I think he should be fine against the Raiders secondary.
SiViK_OuTkAsT™
I bet Emmit predicts Hall with 2 cup gatorade and 3 lost shoes.

tdot falcon
I still think we'll get some deep passes off against their defense. They've given up a lot of deep passes even with all that talent in the secondary. They seem to have some serious scheme or communication problems in the secondary but I don't care why they're messing up as long as we find a way to exploit it. SiViK_OuTkAsT™
Turner will have a great game. I pick him for my offensive MVP, but Roddy still goes for over 100 yards. At least, one score.
The Don™
im jus a little worried with Ryan also, 2 ints yesterday.Don't be worried man. The first INT was mostly Roddy's fault; Roddy did not run a good route and basically framed the comeback that allowed Samuel to intercept it. Roddy admitted it BTW. On the fade route, Ryan will not make that mistake again. He knew he underthrew it, and he will work on it in practice; he is VERY SMART and will do much better next time. Hammer Falcon 50
you are gonna see a heavy dose of turn-wood............and roddy will still get his!!!and D-hall get burnt, but hey were used to that!!
SaintsH8
I think that the Eagles has a better secondary than the Raisers.
Tandy
Both corners are very good - but hey - they are in the NFL. Every week - even against the worst teams - we are facing players among the best in the Country. NFL starters are actually an elite group - even the worst of them. So what - we go out - we play 60 minutes of smart - physical football - minimize mistakes and never quit - we should come out with a win. uga2006
Yea I kinda see Hall as having a person vendetta against us and come out and play. He has always had the skills and he was a great tackler for a corner with the Falcons but he just always went for the big play and got burnt alot. We'll see how he does though. sporkdevil
I'm not worried what so ever. Why does no one throw Aso's way? He is a great corner, Hall is a bad corner, and they couldn't stop the run even if it meant they could leave the Oakland Raiders. Look at when the Broncos embarrassed Hall and their defense. They ran the ball, and threw at Hall. Google what Cutler said, their game plan was to go after Hall.
sporkdevil
If you're scared, raise your hand.Hands down. Never feared going up against Hall on another team.
bighurt
im jus a little worried with Ryan also, 2 ints yesterday.First Int, Samuel read Matt's eyes, He jump that route before Roddy was out of his break. 2nd Int was a bad throw by Ryan, better throw and Roddy has 3 TD game. That 1st Int was the first from a bad decision by Ryan, he has a few bad decisions dropped but if you look at the rest of his INT's they were just bad throws which you can work with, by getting your fundamentals and mechanics right on each throw. He may have a pick or 2 but he will have more atleast that many or more TDs against Oakland. I think Turner gets going this week also. birds_till_death
Hall is actually easily beat, you just have to take advantage of his weakness-aggressive. We all know hall is an aggressive corner who always wants to make a break on the ball and come away with the int. who knows the best way to counteract this???? DOUBLE MOVES. Run a few deep comebacks, then you'll be set for a stop and go, out and up, sluggo, post-corner, etc.....Hall's weakness has always been defending against the double move and eyeing the backfield. A good shoulder pump and hitch step by roddy, will have d-hall turned around or making a break in the wrong direction. On a side bar, i was screaming for this most of the philly game. especially after samuel made two quick breaks on roddy's short passes before the ball left ryan's hands. that is the perfect set up for a stop and go.
