FulCo
This game is going to be tougher than people think.Don't get me wrong, I hate meangelo and the Raiders as much as the next Falcons fan, but traveling out West to play Oakland is going to be a very tough chore for this young football team - especially if they can't get over the abortion that the officials made of yesterday's game at Philadelphia. The Falcons are officially banged up physically, and, heading into the second half of the season,w e will really see what this team is made of.GO FALCONS. FalconMama
it will be tougher than a lot of posters think.. I think the Raiders matchup well with us so it should be interesting.
P-Dub
Not to mention the Raiders should be able to run on the Falcons all day long. If there is a game where we dare the other team to beat us through the air, this is it...
aerosmith67
Any NFL team poses a pretty tough match up, but considering McFadden will be severely limited or out and the Raiders DB's and D was scorched continuously this season I like the Falcons odds much better then I did against the Eagles. aerosmith67
we're going to beat the crap out of themI think the frustration over this week will be taken out against the Raiders this week. We're not as banged up as some think around here, even if JA98 has to sit out we should get Baker back, Ryan will be fine and I can't think of anyone else that was physically beat up this week to the point where they won't start on Sunday. If Ryan can put up 260+ yards against a very tough Eagles D he should fare very well against the Raiders, the run D of the Falcons will be better this week as well, the Raiders running attack isn't as polished as the Eagles and while they'll get some yards they won't have the big plays like the Eagles had. I like our odds against the Raiders, we've done a great job beating the teams we're supposed to beat this year, I don't see that trend ending this season. Level
Are you guys serious??? Atlanta all day long. I think Mike Smith and Co. do a good enough job preparing the Falcons each week for the next opponent. I would only assume that he would preempt his team about the Raiders. Prepare like the last week, have a plan, go out and execute.
atl_falcon_guh
We have no more "easy" games, not with the way our D is playing. All of our games ahead are gonna be hard. After we play the Raiders, Saints and Tampa we will all see what our Falcons are made of. But this game next week and the game against the Saints is a MUST WIN!! I agree we have to be careful with this game, but at the beginning of the year when we were talking about the winnable games this was one of them.
