thestufford
well, I can't stop blaming them... I mean, really it is THEIR JOB to make the right call. But with that said, Jennings should have caught the ball. I pray we cut them.

But with that said, Jennings should have caught the ball. I pray we cut them.As close as it appeared that he didn't touch it on the replay, do you honestly think that in real time the refs could've seen that he didn't touch it. I mean...his body language and everything. Jennings put the refs in a situation to make that call. Why in the world did he back off with the defender being so far away?
AngryPez
Jennings should've been that close to the ball without catching it..... You are right about that. We never should have been in a position to have this call cost us a shot at the game. Jennings failure to execute and the play call at the 2 yard line turned the game over to the officials. Hammer Falcon 50
My question is ................why the H E L L did Smitty call that time out, he should have just let the clock run to the 2:00 warning!!!So you guys can blame whomever you want but this was a rookie coaches mistake!!!oh well lets move on! That was just too much time ticking.... :mellow:how was that the right thing....he could have let the clock run to 2 min.....and run a good 2 min drill....its lots of time????Dont get me wrong at the time I thought a time out was the right thing, but after thinking bout it it seems a though it was not.....trust the 2 min. drill!!!matty is very capable of guiding us to a score in under 2:
st4ngeI2
Jennings should've been that close to the ball without catching it..... **** straight - there are 3 reasons we lost that game:[1] Interception by Ryan at the goalline[2] Jennings stupidness trying to field that punt[3] Refs made a HORRIBLE call
Sun Tzu 7
Jennings should've been that close to the ball without catching it..... If the defense would have done a better job then it wouldn't have been an issue in the first place.Even though we lost I feel good about it. We're not going to the Superbowl this year.... not with this defense. My opinion is that Ryan gets better with every snap so I have a different outlook this season...Oh and Jennings should not be returning punts.... I thought that was obvious in the pre-season.

Theyhateme : )
Im pretty sure it was around there!!! It may not have been exactly 2:20 but **** closeActually, they ran the ball for no gain on 3rd down and 1 with 2:54 left...when we stopped them. So, from 2:54 to 2:28 that time ran off. It was a discrepancy there. Because we had him stopped, but they weren't lined up for 4th down. :32 had already ticked off....

CraigSmackDaddy
I'm not going to stop blaming the refs.... they should've reversed the call and said he didn't touch it. The Eagles could've challenged it. This better cause a rule change. ****, the guy for Philly who returned the kick(though it didn't count) even knew AJ didn't touch it. The_ATL
Jennings should've been that close to the ball without catching it..... That's 100% true but that shouldnt absolve the refs from making the mistake they did. Just like Jennings each have a specific job on a specific play and they ****ed it up.
