Happy Mondays
I don't really have a problem with Mays like I used to as Milloy needs a replacement quickly the problem I have with your Mock is you have not replaced Brooking in either FA or the draft after yesterday That is a top priority, he couldn't even chase down a FB that used to play DT it was pathetic on any other team he would be on the bench right now. And for you not to find his replacement in the offseason still leaves our Cover 2 defence with a gapaing hole at WLB.Even if you don't want Aaron Curry in the first instead going with Mays, there is no reason not to pick up a WLB in the second instead you draft a DE. Im afraid we already have our DE's now Jamaal and Abe are our guys they don not need replacing. I think everyone saw yesterday how important Jamaal is to our defense he is great at stoping the run and is now finally getting his sacks I really don't see theneed for a DE in the second round.I know we need a new NT but you have us picking up Canty in FA there's no need to get depth at NT with vince early in the third depth can be picked up in the later rounds. We already have Babs as our UT who has been playing well this season and has gotten pressure on qb's alot this season.I have no problem with the picks for Oline depth in the later rounds and the WR for a PR is also a good pickup Jennings must be let go next offseason. He is steping up but let me say this....... Its not about getting 1 sack..... Its about our D-Line getting consistent pressure..... With our 1st and 2nd D-Line unit getting consistent pressure.... The type of scheme we run... consistent pressure from our front 4 is a MUST....... Look at Tampa Bay (Greg White) and the Giants last year (Justin Tuck)....... TD will look for another pass rusher..... A consistent pass rush would make our whole D look betterThe Chris Canty and Vince Oghobaase thing..I would put Canty in the UT position because he can rush the passer but let me say this first... First of all..... stopping the run is a must.......No disrespect to Babs but he gets blow up at the line of scrimmage...... We need 2 stout DTs in the middle( we will have Trey Lewis and Babs on the 2nd d-line unit)..... Chris Canty is a guy thats good at attacking the Line of scrimmage.... When Canty attacks... He gets a good push thru the middle...... The Jags had 6'7 330lbs John Henderson and 6'6 310lbs Marcus Stroud (played the UT position) as their starting DTs....... The Vikings have 6'3 317lbs Pat Williams and 6'5 310lbs Kevin Williams (plays the UT position) as their starting DTs........ Stoping the run is the name of the game..... On of the pass rushing downs we can have ....... John Abraham............Jamaal Anderson.........Babs........... Everette Brown................ But we will have Vince and Canty in there to stop the run......I understand the brooking thing...... i thought about replacing him but something is telling me that Coach Smith and the staff will keep brooking..... Remember Coach smith had that 30 and older meeting (leaders)....... TD and Coach Smith will Keith Brooking for his leadership plus they will feel like improving the D-Line will help our Linebackers off....... Lawyer Milloy and Keith Brooking will not be off of this team...... 1 will stayBut yea...... I had the Falcons signing Kevin Burnett (6'3 230lbs from Dallas Cowboys) to compete with Stephen Nicholas for that starting LB position........ But i thought about it....... The team will not get rid or Brooking unless he does not want to resign at a cheap price..... but come on.... you know Brooking will do whatever he has to in order to stay on this teamI cant lie...... when that FB had brooking beat...... I was pissed...lol....... I believe Stephen Nicholas would be a really good LB in this league......
Scott24Falcons
Michael Boley needs to step his game up. Seriously. He's not playing like a pro-bowl caliber OLB. I disagree with the Brooking signing, but we'll have to see. Nice draft, though.

I think that Boley is just getting used to this scheme
Keas McFalcon
I like the offseason i would rather keep milloy than brooking though, I think there is a bigger need at WLB than at SS. have no problem with Mays in the first but would like to see a OLB somewhere early in the draft but overall except for that i liked it

I believe Stephen Nicholas would be a really good LB in this league......Just give Jamaal some more time before you cont him out from getting consistent pressure, **** some of us never thought he could ever get two sacks in two games.OK I can buy the DT's if you sell it like that, but I personally would go in a differnt direction in the third but you have explained it well.Believe me Brooking is gone next season, Alge Dunn and Rod will tell you that age doesn't matter to Smith. The only situation I see Brooking still on the team is if he stays on as a LB coach that is the only way.I am pretty sure Nicholas blew coverage yesterday on a couple of snaps, I have said it time and time again you guys are putting too much stock in a 4th round draft choice becoming our starting WLB, If nothing is done to adress the WLB position this offseson I am going to be mad, much like I was mad they did nothing to adress the DDT need last offseason except bringing in Grady,
The Don™
Yeah, WLB is more important than SS. Brooking is ALWAYS getting beat; for God's sake, he got BEAT BY A FREAKING FB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw we go for Aaron Curry, and we would have a great LB core
