Cirrohsis of the Eye
Diagnosing Philly's defenses before the snap and finding his hot receivers to neutralize their blitzes, especially in the second half. He called an audible on the play Finneran dropped the TD pass. Great job by Matt and a poor job by Finn not getting the TD. Ryan also did a very good job moving in the pocket to buy time. Yeah, the interception in the endzone was bad but overall he is showing absolutely incredible progress. He also showed toughness after getting hit really hard on the play the Eagles were penalized for roughness. It's hard to tell he's a rookie who hasn't even played half a season yet. He showed a lot against a very tough defense on a day when we had our third string left tackle in during the second half.

Happy Mondays
That fade route throw was pathetic needs to learn to put air under the ball, but apart from that not a bad day for a rookie That Mularkey is putting to much pressure on. BlacksburgHokie
Yeah he played very well today for the most part. There were a few bad throws, but his decision making was good overall...

millenium falcon
he has struggled with the fade, but as shown on the second TD to white he excells at throwing to a spot on the field. they need to practice the corner of the end zone a lot more it seems. the eagles dominated most of this game so with two turn overs you cant expect to win. that said we had a chance to steal this one but the referees nipped that in the bud. ryan has done great at hitting white when they play off, and finding targets on the move. our offense is becoming very exciting and he did very well on the road with the added pressure of playing in front of family and friends. that is something i worried about and something coach smith wisely addressed. i really love the choice dimitroff made there, and the choice blank made with dimitroff. i'm not counting us out this year, but i expect bigger things next year. i hope our staff does'nt get picked apart though. i really like what mularkey has done with our rookie QB and what boudreau has done with our OL. i'm happy with our defensive staff too. FalconFan13
From the refs, or your run D?Or both? From me to you Hope you like it my friend. Don't be stingy when the falcons are getting ready to go to the playoffs and we need you to stomp someone to put us in. I expect you to give me a gift back
Guest Gritz
From the refs, or your run D?Or both?run D went down dramatically after Anderson went out....Westbrook wasn't doing much until that point.......
falconsd56
I think tis telling about him despite throwing that pick at the end zone............when the falcons needed him to be nearly perfect... he was the last drive he was in......he showed he was a franchise qb.the fact he lead the team down the field when it would have been easier to just fold says alot about him and our coach. McMVP
run D went down dramatically after Anderson went out....Westbrook wasn't doing much until that point....... But most teams don't rely on DEs for run D too much. The TD run Westbrook had went away from where Anderson would've been playing
SWIFT HITTER
From the refs, or your run D?Or both?our run d was bad cause we were more worried about your passing attack..Milloy and Coleman played outside the box

The TD run Westbrook had went away from where Anderson would've been playingTrue, but our back-up DE, Biermann, was getting owned by Runyan. For the most part Jamaal Anderson was playing very well stuffing the run and rushing the passer. As bad as we (myself included) knock him, his loss today hurt us. Poster Large Johnson
yeah he did good but props to Mulark for realizing early the stop routes weren't going to work against a real defense.the Interception in the end zone killed us but he is a rookie those things will happen..the other INT was just Asante Samuel being Asante Samuel, as Roddy continues to get better he will learn to not let that happen.. Go get your football Roddy like u did in the end zone at the end.
GritsPittz
From the refs, or your run D?Or both?We all know giving up rushing yds to the eagles won't matter until they stick to the run.
McMVP
We all know giving up rushing yds to the eagles won't matter until they stick to the run.But it mattered this gameWe were actually very balanced this game - 34 passes, 32 runs.I want that to continue of course - but I have my doubts that it will
