Jedi-Falcon
This matchup is going to expose Asante. He was a good zone CB in the Patriots Defense, but there is no way in **** he can cover Roddy man-to-man without help. Roddy is going to get double-teamed all game and that should free up Jenkins and HD.Roddy may only catch 1 ball the enitre game, but the effect of his presence just being out there is going to open our Offense wide open for the other WRs to make plays. But unfortunately Ryan is going to get the jitter-bugs, and stink up the place the 1st half. It will be a replay of the Tampa game. Terrible 1st Half, then too-little-too-late in the 2nd Half.Turner will get about 45 yards. Norwood will see the ball about 3 times for 25 yards. Mularkey will abandon the Run Game pretty early and put everything on Ryan's shoulders. McNabb is going to have a field-day throwing against Foxworth and hitting Westbrook across the middle against Brooking. However -The Eagles are going to show blitz every down, but they wont do it. They are going to show blitz and drop back into coverage, which is going to really screw Ryan up at first. If we can get Turner to bust one early when they do this we might have a chance. That will force the Eagle Defense into a more predictable scheme to stop the Run.This going to be a weird game that might go either way to the extremes, or a close game decided by a Safety. The Falcons have a real shot at winning it, but the edge is in the Eagles favor. McNabb is too good, been around too long, to let a Secondary like ours beat him. The Eagles will score at least 34 points. Whether we win or lose will depend on if Ryan and our Offense can score more than that.

Dem Birds
Bears showed blitz a lot and then dropped back, and Ryan tossed it right over their heads. One of those was the 2nd and 25, ya know, where he made a 26 yard completion?

#1 pick™
This is one game Brooking needs to sit out, Westbrook is too much for good ole Keith
dirtycanadianbird
I'm surprised that it has taken so long for teams to realize the caliber of player that Roddy is.Everyone seems happy leavin their corners on an island and gettin beat all game. Granted this is probably largely due to turner and their need to stack the box but I will be surprised if the corner on Roddy's side doesn't get safety help for the rest of the year. Me thinks Douglas, Jenks and the crew will become a bigger part of the offense form here on out. And hopefully it will give Turner a little more space to run. Then again maybe the Iggles will assume Samuels can lock him down.... that would be fun. ki46dinah
I did some digging....The last time we beat Philly at Philly.....was 1988. Bush Sr was in office and our team was lead by none other than Marion Campbell.
Dirty-Bird
I hope you're right. Boley can't matchup with Westbrook? Or does that HAVE to be the MLB's job?

pick-ups
The Eagles should be able to dictate the game to the Falcons(strong defense and too many weapons on offense)I think you guys forget how bad your defense really is.Eagles 31Falcons
Tandy
Can anyone recall the last time we ever beat the Eagles on their home field? I can't remember. We last won there in 1980 - since then - we've played there 2 times in regular season - and lost them both - in 2000 and 2006. Prior to that - we won 3 out of 4 trips there and tied once. So, as a club, our record overall there is 4 wins, 4 losses and 1 tie. However, this team with these Coaches have never lost there. If the falcons defense is bad then I guess you could say that the eagles defense is bad too. We have just as many weapons if not more on offense. Close but Elam will win another close one late in the game.
pick-ups
Thats a good way to get Ryan killed(5 wide means taking away blockers).Plus the Eagles have a stable of good CBs.
