This team can beat the Eagles...if we played at the Dome

We can match up with those guys, but the Falcons would need the Dome Energy to beat them. And believe me - we would clobber them here in the Dome. Just like we did that last time on MNF.

But playing in their home stadium, I don't know. This game is basically going to be a replay of the Tampa/Carolina games (minus the dropped passes, hopefully).

Matt Ryan is under a lot of pressure coming back to his home town and I don't think it's fair to expect him to win a road game like this. The Eagles are tough, their Defense is good (although I think their blitzing every down can be beaten rather simply) The Eagles have a good Run-Defense, and I dont know what to expect from Turner. I think Norwood can do more damage against the Eagles than Turner will.

Can our Defense stop McNabb? That will depend entirely on our front-4. And FOR CHRISTS SAKES CAN OUR LINEBACKERS SHOW UP FOR THIS GAME AND GET SOME PRESSURE?

Keith Brooking is a waste of a roster spot right now, and where is Michael Boley this season? Van Gorder needs to get this unit making plays because our Secondary will be toast if they don't. The Secondary is young and doing all they can but if the LBs arent going to help out the O-Line and penetrate the backfield then McNabb is going to have a career day against us.

Turnovers seem to always happen in the home-field team's favor, and I think Ryan is going to throw a pick or two. And I don't see us getting any turnovers in our favor, and that will decide this game.

Eagles: 27

Falcons: 11

I love the Jedi's dedication to reverse psychology. The reality is the Eagles are practically supernatural. They only have a .500 record to keep things interesting for themselves. My guess is they humiliate the Falcons so bad they forfeit before halftime. And I wouldn't be surprised if Smith resigned and Ryan retired after the game.

This will be Ryan's worst game of the season. And it's a perfect set-up for that to happen. Embarassed in front of his own family in his home-town. This game will change Matt Ryan forever. For better or worse we have yet to see.
