Headshot
I heard on the radio this morning that the Chic-fil-a Kick Off committee is trying to get Alabama and Virginia Tech to be the opening game match up.
Shaud
*Sigh*Oh boy, that one could get ugly.
c_ponder
*Sigh*Oh boy, that one could get ugly. Either way it would be good for both universities really. The national exposure is a good thing for recruiting.. 2 years in a row in this for bama would be huge..

CrimsonKat
Yes, it has been in the works for awhile. ABC/ESPN even helped Alabama buy out the game with Tulane next year to make it work for our schedule.
LawDawg
We don't need to help Bama's or VaTech's recruiting efforts here in Georgia. I'd much rather see Georgia or even GaTech in this game.

Honestly Virginia Tech never really gets big time offensive recruits, and I've always been baffled by that. If they got the same kind of offensive recruits as they do defensive ones, they would be multiple time national champions.

I mean we let Percy Harvin slip out of Virginia to go to your school Also we just don't seem to have a lot of out of state recruits. Most of them are from Virginia which is normal but most big time schools has a pretty good amount of out of state recruits. Last year we had talent on offense at the wideout position and a pretty good running back in Ore but our offensive line is pathetic and that is where it all starts. VT has neither. Taylor can be a good player, but not in a tradition pro-style offense. He's not that type of QB. You guys need to spread out the field and let TT do his thing. Tyrod Taylor will be in the Heisman race

I just hope we wouldn't play Florida in the NC game. :P
