Dem Birds
I really like the fact that he's not afraid to talk about his lack of production and admit he has a lot of work to do. That's the sign of a true competitor, hopefully it'll continue to pay off for him. It's hard not to like him.
Striker42
Seems like a good guy but he has got to do more than working an extra 5 or 10 minutes before practice. The only excuse for the terrible start to his career is that he's had no idea how to play the position and if that's the case then he needs to be consumed with getting better. 5 to 10 minutes wont do it. Striker42
only been playing it for a couple of years..and last year he had rookie coaches that had no clue wtf they were doing in the NFL.Just goes to my point that he needs to be spending more than 5 to 10 minutes extra a day. If he really has that much to work on then he needs to be spending a ton of extra time working on it. Hours in fact. This isn't the first time I've heard him mention his "extra" work. He brags about it like it's supposed to impress people. It doesn't. The Falcons are paying him millions, so far he's given them very little in return. The least we can ask is he go the extra mile. He gives him different things to work, drills, tips etc. Doesn't mean that's all he's doing to get better.

It said the idea of getting better had "consumed him". To show his new found dedication he mentioned how he was putting in an extra 5-10 minutes before practice working on his pass rushing. That was all. I could be wrong but I think someone trying to dispel whispers that he's a bust and who is actually putting in hour after hour of extra work would bring that up when asked about what he's doing to ensure he'll get better. You would lead with the hours of hard work, not the 5-10 minutes extra a day.

Yea, it's not really his rookie year but if you looked at this year is the first year he is being properly coached then that was not a bad game 6. Still needs to get better but I'm giving him a clean slate from last year and just looking at this year.
frankthetank966
Good interview. He seems to have a positive attitude about this year. Interesting segment about Petrino.
Striker42
Even the most optimistic person has to admit that Anderson should be killing himself trying to get better. So far I haven't heard anything of that type. That's disappointing. A guy with any pride in his craft would have been embarassed.
nativefalcon
only been playing it for a couple of years..and last year he had rookie coaches that had no clue wtf they were doing in the NFL.Yaa and this year he has Jax old d-line coach and JA's first coach with the Jets. Give him time, he's showing improvement. Those jerkoffs last year wasted a year and didn't teach him ****.
