sniffmyfinger
I was at the Monday night game in September of 2005 when we beat up on Mcnabb (he came out of the game for a few plays, as I recall), we won 14-10. NFL.com is claiming that McNabb has never lost to the Falcons.http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter?game_id=2963...=tab_gamecenter

FalconsFor6
Yea, didn't we start with a penalty on the kickoff? or was that a dif game?I'm not sure, but I think you're right...I think it was decided that we started it, even though the Eagles were jumping up in down on the midfield logo in disrespect...I remember them having to rush Vick off the field and D. Hall abusing some Eagles' players helmet after it was ripped off their head...

Scott24Falcons
Jeremiah Trotter and Keion Carpenter (I believe) were both thrown out of that game before kickoff for fighting.

Brewcrew
Thats right...We had some Eagles fans trolling around the board all week...They tried to say that was spearing and deserved a fine and suspension....They also said that we intentionally had Mathis get himself and Trotter thrown out of the game. They also blamed the refs. Very angry people and definitely sore losers.

Tandy
Yeah Babs hit Mcnabb in the abdomin and gave him a sports hernia, he was out the rest of the year. That was Lavalais - and he got fined for it after the game. Everybody got fined for that game Anyway - that was Brady Smith and Chad Lavalais on that hit - but Chad got hit for it afterwards. The first fight was even before the game and they danced on the logo when we were going off the field - they all ran back out - it was crazy that night.D'Hall played his best NFL game IMO that night - he was like glue on TO
formul8or
Jeremiah Trotter and Keion Carpenter (I believe) were both thrown out of that game before kickoff for fighting. It was Mathis that locked up with him. Tandy
It was Mathis that locked up with him. I think Mathis won the game for us.Actually, there were a bunch of them fighting - but remember the refs actually looked at the replay - can you believe that - that had to be a first. They said Trotter and Mathis started it - so they ejected them.
trubirdfan4life
yup...i was thinking bryan scott, but yea i think it was carpenter.actually it was kevin mathis...he was kicked out of the game and then the next week in practice, he hurt his knee and it ended his season and career....he was probably our best DB during that time and just got hurt two years in a row and it was over. DemDirtyBirds4
Jeremiah Trotter and Keion Carpenter (I believe) were both thrown out of that game before kickoff for fighting.I think it was Kevin Mathis. Anyway that was the MNF season opener and i remember that whole game. I remember Mora told D-Hall to keep his mouth shut until the end of the game and i remember after that last incomplete pass to TO Hall was jawing at him. It was funny.
