David TTU
Will this be the game that, more than any other we'll play this season, be the most defining of where exactly this team is? I want to believe soooo badly that we're a 4-2 team because we're that good, that 6 weeks from now we'll be 8-4 and then we'll be in the playoffs but I'm not ready to jump on this ship yet as I'm sure is the case with most of you. There's no question we're a surprise team and it's a great story, but this game will tell so much about every aspect of the team. How do we handle the blitzes? How do we handle that environment? Just how far will the defense bend? Is this the week it finally breaks? How will the O-line play, are they really that good or have they been playing above their heads? Sooo many questions out there that I feel will be answered this week, I can't wait. But one thing is for sure, and I think that most of you will agree with me: If Smith and the Falcons walk into Philly this weekend and give Reid his first ever loss after a bye (he's 9-0), in that environment with a rookie QB and young O-line against that kind of defense, then we are, without question, a playoff team. And that makes me happy

Shaud
Will this be the game that, more than any other we'll play this season, be the most defining of where exactly this team is?Not really, I think it would be huge if we win, but if we lose no need to hang our heads. The Eagles are a great team after the bye. I'm more concerned about us playing the teams in our division. So far we are 0-2 in the division. We need to steal some division games, atleast 2 out of the last 4 division games left. I like our chances with the division games now that Matt is getting better and better every week. phattywankenobi
Don't get too high or too low on the outcome. The offense gets better, especially Ryan with each game. I just hope our Defense are fired up and come out swinging. If they lose and show heart I will be OK with that for now.

If we lose a tough, hard fought game and played well, then so be it. If it's competitive and we make good adjustments, then I'm happy. BW79
We got this game. Offense will show up. As long as Abe and Anderson show up and the corners have a good game we will be ok. We gotta shake Mcnabb up. I think that is key. Quiet the crowd. Controlling the 2nd half with the run game would be a deal-sealer as well. tonegully
we must establish the run early. Power football right down their throats. Norwood working the outside to spread the LBs. It will be an awsome win but i think our biggest wins will come from beating NFC south teams
luckyhole
Let's make this game "The game where our defense finally showed up. And sustained for four quarters."
Robb4242
I think this game is a huge game in terms of national respect. People will definitely take notice if we go in there and win that game. That said, we can't let a win there go to our heads, or we'll lose our next 4 games. We also can't get too down on a loss if that were to happen either. We have a favorable schedule the rest of the way out, and a loss here would not kill our season. DurtyBirds02
If we win we will def get alot more respect as being "for real" This is going be a nerve racking weekend. I wish the game was on right now. Im anxious to see how Ryan does against this defense. I just hope our D can stand strong against Donovan. We need our Line to control the game. FalconMama
If ryan is picked 3 times and sacked 5 times it's okay. It happens, Matt will have lots of bad games in his career.
falconfanjason
I hope we can go in there and win this game, its not a place where the Falcons have had a lot of success in the past but its a new team and a new philosophy. I think we'll play tough no matter the outcome.
falconsfan1987
This is a very young team and even if they lose(which I don't think we will)they will continue to grow as a young team. This is a very exciting time to be a Falcons fan.

michaelgee
pick this and pick that, Matt has been doing some fine pickin apart of defenses. In fact, Matt has picked apart more defenses already than have gotten picks from him.Youth and inexperience has nothing to do with Matt Ryan.Ryan is the BEST Rookie QB to ever play in the NFL.GO FALCONS! FeedingFrenzy
Just enjoy the ride...game by game. Why worry if you trust that our coaches are doing their best to improve our play each and every game. Even the best team loses once in a while for no good reason.Let's see where we stand at the end of the season.
War Damn Eagle
Regardless of the outcome, this game will be a measuring stick for where this team stands. We really haven't played a potent offense yet so it's going to be interesting to see our stategy going into the game. If we can somehow win this game, I don't see another game that isn't winnable.
