FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP)—Rodney Harrison’s season—and possibly his career—is over after the New England Patriots safety tore a thigh muscle.

The Patriots placed the 35-year-old player on injured reserve Wednesday. The 15-year veteran is in the final year of his contract.

Harrison hurt his right quadriceps on the final play of the third quarter Monday night during a 41-7 victory over Denver.

The Patriots also signed defensive back Antwain Spann from their practice squad and added guard Dan Connolly and safety Mark Dillard to it.

That would suck if his career ends!
