north falcon
Although I enjoy looking at them, power rankings are completely useless. It is a random mess of utter nonsense. Just look at the way these asinine writers flip-flop and jump on band wagons after one win.The Bears win a game and they jump.....7 spots! The Patriots win a game and they jump......8 spots! The Packers win a game and they jump.......9 spots! Really? The Packers win a game and they go from being a "bad" team to a "good" team in just one week? Is that how it works??How about the teams that lost in week 7?Do the Broncos, Chargers, Colts and Cowboys really deserve to be dropped 6, 6, 8 and 9 spots?! Are they saying that none of these teams will make the playoffs now?I guess we better not lose to Philly or else we might be ranked #23 next week. Finally, the Jets are ranked higher than the Saints. Does anyone on this planet think the Jets would even be competitive in a game against the Saints? This bothers me more than the Bears and Packers being ranked above the Falcons because at least these teams are in the same class. The Saints would beat the Jets by more than 2 TDs 9 out of 10 times. paulitik
It goes to show you, nobody in the sports media have a clue what they are talking about. Power Rankings are useless, yet still fun to read for the average fan . It's cheap analysis by an extremely lazy media, trying to spoon feed you what they think you need to know.
