HaynesRisonCase
At the end of the Total Access tonight. Fran asked Terrell Davis and Marshall Faulk "which team with a winning record did they think would fade in the second half of the season" both replied "ATLANTA". Fran then even posed a "really?" and TD said "THEY GOT TOO" I hope them Dirty Birds prove them wrong. C'mon MATTY BOY
ltstorm1
Let people keep picking against us. If we keep winning and they continue to pick us to lose, they lose more and more credibility with each pick.

C'mon MATTY BOYwonder what their prediction was for our w/l record at the beginnijg of the season? 1-15 or 2-14 perhaps? Since we've already won 2 to 3 times as many games as they predicted and we still have 10 to go, they may be trying to save face here by suggesting later on these 4 wins were all a fluke. HaynesRisonCase
I like being the underdogs. I love to see the dummy look on all the other teams/fans faces when Atlanta wins.
Ghost Rider
Why do we have too. Because were the lowly Falcons? Were a fluke? Matt Ryan isn't as smart as he seems to be? He's not really reading defenses, he's just lucky? It's all a mirage. Well, WAKE UP PEOPLE, WE AIN"T GIONG NO WHERE!!!! We too legit to quit!!! atljbo
They think that because we have a tough schedule and remember guys.... even tho we have had a good start ....we are still rebuilding....... I feel like we can compete with anytime but you guys still have to remember the facts..... We are rebuilding......... i feel like we are in one of those fast moving/ quick rebuilding situations........ I feel like we are in the same position that the Buffalo Bills was in last year..... So if Faulk & Davis believe we will fade.... let them think that........ I just know that we are a up incoming team in the NFL..... We are building this team the right way
Jedi-Falcon
What ticks me off is the media says we haven't beat any team with a winning record when in fact 2 of the teams we played had *winning records* before we beat them.Oh well. Respect comes with time.
HaynesRisonCase
Got to remember the source when it comes to Faulk and Davis I suppose. I mean FAULK is a diehard RAMS fan. WOW!! leaps and bounds away from the birds right??? EHH NOT SO MUCH!and DAVIS, well...we all just saw what happened to his team Monday night. HAHA. We will earn everybody respect..... Whats gets me is that everybody is saying how the Bears and Packers are fa real and we beat both of them...... They are sayin that the Bears lost a close game against us that they was suppose to win but the fact is that we dominated that game..... We almost lost a game that we was suppose to winBut until we earn eveybodys respect..... GritsPittz
I think we will fade as well unless our defense starts playing better.
HaynesRisonCase
I heard them talk about how the Bears have been giving away games in the 4th quarter. When actually ATLANTA had the game won and almost gave it away. Jenkins drop in endzone 7pts.Harry Douglas not tripping on long bomb 7ptsElam 3pts.17 sounds better to me...it would have even been a game. I love how they talk about the mistakes that Chicago made for why they loss, but neglect the mistakes that Atanta made for why they didn't blow em out. FalconMama
I think we will fade as well unless our defense starts playing better.I think our defense will be the reason we lose games as well. But it's okay though, Smith is working with what he has.
RyanFalconMan
I am sorry why did he say "we have got too?" If they actually watched any of our games, they would realize that we are playing better football than most teams out there. Its all about the football you play on sunday. I am glad they are so quick to jump off the Cowboys bandwagon, just shows how loyal and foolish these guys are. All that matters is how a team plays on Sunday, does it not?? I have watched a lot of football for the past 7 weeks and the Falcons have been looking really good compared to other teams so far. I am not saying they have played the best football the past 7 weeks, but a 4-2 record, you have to be playing good football.
ki46dinah
If we had an at least middle of the league defense I would feel much better of our chances in the second half of the season.I didnt expect much goin in, so anything over 5-11 and seeing future stars mature at key positions is all I wanted. Any extra wins is just gonna be icing...and it looks like there will be plenty of it this season. We do have to start winning division games if we want to have a chance at the postseason though. bad newz birds
Hey since the creation of the NFC South, every team that finished last the previous season finishes 1st the next season.......History is on our side, GO FALCONS..........even though we are 0-2 as of now. vabchbirdlover
if they say so, then it must be true :P :P I guess i'll have to cancel my NFL ticket package, not!!!!!!!!!!!FALCON FEVER, CATCH IT
paulitik
3 weeks ago the Cowboys and Broncos were the best teams in the league, the Patriots were dead in the water, the Rams were the worst team in the league. These fools know zip. We'll be fine, I like it better when we are under the radar.
jm_falcons
Here are the facts as I see them....In Atlanta's 4 wins....they looked like the better team. In there 2 losses...they did not look like the better team. When Atlanta plays at home...they are simply a very good football team. Are the Falcons having any significant injury problems...None that I know of. How is this team going to fade when they seem to be getting better with every game. How is this team going to fade when 6 of there final 10 games are against teams with losing records?Sorry....I aint buying this Falcons are going to fade business. It won't be easy but the Falcons will fight in every contest.
