Tony Gonzalez

Bring It

Tony, Tony, Tony.

You made the biggest mistake in your career by turning down the Falcons. Your Chiefs are now tied with Detroit as the most hopeless NFL mess since Bobby Quitrino. KC will be LUCKY to win another game this year.

In Atlanta Tony, you could have been a contender, as Marlon Brando would say. You would have been with a team that you would have fit right in with. Character guys throughout. You would have help take them to the playoffs, and maybe beyond.

Whoops.......................hold it.......................I didn't realize ONE important thing here.

You're dumb !!!

Forget it.

he wanted to go to a team that could possibly win a title this year, not 2010. We have a good team and I have no doubt that we'll get to the big dance soon but despite success this is still a rebuilding franchise too.

Uh huh, and I'm sure he'll have a blast with his fantastic Chiefs the rest of this horrid season.

Do you honestly think he'll be a Chief going into next year?? he wont..

Well, he stated that he was not bitter about not being traded before the deadline, even though it looked like a deal was going to happen. I don't think he hates KC or anything.

This offseason, it'll probably be the same thing again - if a contender is willing to give up some draft picks for him, he'd go, but I guess that remains to be seen.

Yeah we're light years ahead of the chiefs but I still see why he declined the Falcons. Do you honestly think he'll be a Chief going into next year?? he wont..

Well, we all see what can happen when a dream team of stars is assembled like Dallas. According to all the "experts", in August the Cowboys were "can't miss" being the best NFC team with a "lock" on the Super Bowl. How quickly things can change.

Now days in the NFL, what looks great on paper................stays on paper..............not on the playing field.

The Falcons would have been a great team for Tony but, like millions of other observers, he was clueless of what is going on with the Falcons.

He................and they................will learn, and very soon.

Thats what he tells the media, but I think he was pretty pissed. He loves KC, be he wants out. He knows this team is going nowhere fast. They need to draft a QB this year. Brodie Croyle was a walking bandaid in college and is still in the pros.

well despite what the analyst said about the Cowboys, Tony made the decision that he didn't want to come to the Falcons and I can't fault him. We have great things going on here but at his age he realizes that the window is closing fast and he wanted to finish with a contender. If we go on to win the SB this year or next year then tht's his loss but I'm not going to call this man dumb for not wanting to come here.

I'm sure he really isn't a dumb person but the fit would have been a very good one. I think he will regret his decision. Time will only tell.

You can't be salty that he didn't want to come here. In due time stuff like that wont happen because we will establish ourselves as a top team. I also think that KC are the ones that stiffed him because they changed the compensation they wanted on a deal that would have sent him to a team he wanted to go to.

As they say................it is what it is.

Tony G. will go down in NFL history as one of the biggest WASTE of talents ever.

Stuck in a semi-pro franchise.
