FALCONS IN FLIGHT
Does anyone think that Matt Ryan will appear on the cover of a Sports Illustrated this year ?
Ghost Rider
Iwould think that he would and soon. If he keeps playing like this he will be on all the NFL preview mags next year too. Just like Vick was. The new king of the south.

k-train
I hope we get back on Thanksgiving day again. I love those games and love watching the Birds while I eat a little bird.No way. That gives you a very short week. I'm a fan of all the games being on Sunday. Gives the players and coaches the same amount of time in between games to prepare all season. We don't need to be in the spotlight. We don't need to have a bunch of games on prime time. We don't need to be media darlings. We just need to consistantly win. THE BOTTOM FALLS OUT!NO COVER SHOTS KID!!I don't really put a lot of weight into these curses, but in my day I've seen both the S.I. cover and the Madden curses seem to have an adverse effect on a lot of players and teams. While a lot of it might just be coincidence, we saw what happened when our QB was on the cover of Madden. I really don't think we should risk it. bad newz birds
Ben Rothlisberger in 04, and Vince Young in 06 both won ROTY, and were on SI cover. Ryan will be the 3rd in NFL history.
Karst41
The NFL as you know is a Business first and foremost. For Matt (Ice Man) Ryan to make the cover of SI wouldbe incredible for Marketing. (translates to revenue)I like it.
