If the Eagle defense plays like they did against Pittsburgh

Eagles 31

Falcons 13

Im sure they wont be looking past ATL the way things have been going during this crazy season but ATL is not going to be 1 of their harder games this year.th_ecb5.jpg

our oline is not pittsburghs.

i should probably start with a leapster 1

I think falcons will lose. The falcons have a worse defense than the eagles

Yes, but we also have a very good running game and we'll be going up against an undersized defensive front. Not saying we'll have huge success, but Turner and Norwood should have some good chances to break some long runs. If we can run the ball and keep McNabb on the sidelines, we'll be in business.

You see how you feel? Saints fans have felt like that all season. <_<

I'm not saying that to make it seem like it was a victory we should've had, because we still had to drive the football, but that call stunk and it stunk bad. It was the game-changer. Frankly though, we should've never even been in that position considering we had (and wasted) a 1st and Goal situation with an end-zone interception. Those are opportunities that have to be converted. This is the NFL and it's not every drive where you're sitting on your opposition's 1 yard-line with four shots at punching it in. That's something our very young (but good) football team has to learn.

True dat.

What's insult to injury is when you're told that "if your team is any good, they will overcome those very bad calls."

I fricken hate hearing that! <_<

Oh don't beat yourself up - you're way exceeding your expectations, remember ;)

I didn't say that. This team isn't the 2007 Atlanta Falcons. We're a better football team and certainly capable of being better than 4-3. As for earlier today in Philadelphia, that was by far the worst call of the year in my opinion. The Chargers-Broncos call was bad, but it was a little closer. Jennings didn't touch the ball, the ball didn't change direction, nothing. He backed the freak up and paid for it. Too many players and fans around the world have too much invested in these games; that includes time, money, prizes, passion, heart, playoff dreams, etc. Too much invested in these games for them to end like they've been ending this season. The officiating in general this year has all been piss-poor. The NFL needs look themselves in the mirror and re-think this replay garbage because plays in the 1st and 2nd quarter are being corrected but calls in the 4th quarter are not. Get it together.

/Rant.

Some calls cannot be overcame. What happens when your kick returner - returns it to the house with 00 seconds remaining and an officials swears he counted 12 players when it was actually 11?

I need to get off this board before I break my computer. Try to sleep on it.

I88, I hope you got some sleep man? Don't let it eat you alive man. I used to do that and all it does is ruin you health. I'm moving on to Oakland where we can be 5-3! Yeah the call sucked, but I blame Jennings for trying to field the punt, Smith for not having a timeout to challenge the call (I would've saved the last time out we had the 2:00 warning coming) and we would've only had to go 50 some yards. If Norwood isn't on punts soon and Jennings is not cut...I'm gonna be starting to wonder wtf?

I can't blame Jennings because he went to try to make a play and still did not touch the ball. To me, Adam shouldn't have touched the ball, he didm't, and the referee should've seen that. The play should've been called correctly.
