I'm surprised Florida is down there at 10 and Ohio State ahead of Florida. With that being said if Florida takes care of business they will be in the title game come January. The loss to Oregon State is going to hurt them unless Oregon State possibly wins out.I think the SEC is going to beat up on one another and may have the conference champ with two losses. With that Texas loss along with the other Texas loss that will drop Texas to around 7-10 & out of the Title game look.. Again not trying to slight Ok St or Texas Tech but I think they will slip up a time or two.I need Ohio State to win out including next week vs Penn State which I think will happen.. That will land Ohio State around #4-5 which will make our win over them a bigger win than any of the other top 5's..Then I need the good teams in my conference to stop beating each other up & atleast crack the top 25.. Oregon should win out & be about 15-16.. Cal will get back in, I could also see Oregon State & Arizona getting in also.. Best case scenario ND wins out minus the loss to us & they get in.. Again this is kinda hopeful but not far fetched because if u look at the AP & USA Today all these Pac 10 schools & ND got some votes for the top 25.As for the SEC, I think Florida will beat Georgia but LSU is going to continue to slide so Floridas only win will be over a 10-12 ranked Georgia at that point & that wont be enough to get in..I obviously also need Bama to lose but I feel pretty confident in a loss based on the fact they barely got by both Ole Miss & Kentucky & with 1 loss they will only have a win over Georgia which wont be enough to get in. The SEC Championship Game could get in the way but if Alabama goes undefeated & then looses to Georgia or Florida they deserve to be in & I would vote myself.Bottom line my team has to win out which is going to be a task because we still got some good teams on our schedule & I am not taking anyone for granted.. If we do that & I get Oregon around 15 which they should if they win out, If I can get two of my other opponents to be in the 20-25 area I will have convincing wins over 4 top 25's including 1 top 5, 1 top 15 & 2 top 25's which wont be too bad. SacFalcFan
usc needs the pac-10 to get a few more teams ranked and it will help them with the computer rankings, but right now it's clear with uga's schedule if we win out and a few other things happen we will be in the championship game because the computers will love us with this schedule. Remarkable
USC needs a lot of help to make the title game. Off the top of my head you probably want Texas to win out to take care of Oklahoma and Oklahoma St. Then you need Bama to lose 2, LSU to lose 1, Georgia to lose 1, and Florida to lose 1. Then you need Penn State to lose 1 or 2 depending on who the lossses are to. God forbid OSU wins out in impressive fashion and finds a way to make it over USC. Then on top of all that the Pac-1 needs to pick it up. Oh yeah, USC can't have another Oregon St. episode.
