Libid21
What do you guys want to do with the CB position next year? Do you want Houston to start or move him over to nickel and put CHevis in or what? And with Von Hutchins back, we'll have four solid cornerbacks to play with (5 if you include Irons), what do you want to see happen next year? A-TowN.-
I would love Chris Gamble, by the way he his tearing up the Saints.I don't think we have anyone that really stands out. Chevis will get better and so will Houston. Grimes is out of the question for me, sorry. Foworth yet to prove himself, along with Von.We need a pass rush first though
head busta from augusta
Develop what we have on the roster and add a pass rush to our dline. Not to mention cb take about three years to develop so no matter who you draft this year they will not be an impact player until three years from now! chris30277
I really do not think we will do much at CB this offseason. I think our FO is going to let the current crop of guys gel. Maybe Foxworth will see more action, and Von Hutchens will be back
Norwood32
I like how people always mention we need a pass-rush but they disagree with my Orakpo pick. Unless JA98 proves me otherwise we still need a DE.

Unless JA98 proves me otherwise we still need a DE.The reason why I would question it is because I would rather pick a DE who's stats are just as good in a later rounds and get a stout DT that we have needed for the past two seasons. Let me introduce you to Mr. Nick Reed 29 Tck 11.5 TFL 8 Sacks and 9 QB Hurries. Oh by the way if you thought this year was a fluke last year 60 Tck 22.5 TFL 12 Sacks better than your boy. Happy Mondays
Did you not watch Orakpo last night, man was straight up dominating, plus there really isn't a DT worth taking over Orakpo, did Cody tare his ACL yesterday??

Orakpo wasn't starting last season though so he only had 5.5 sacks. Why is Reed projected to go undrafted?
A-TowN.-
Well remember last time we drafted a DE first pick. haI don't think our FO is going to just give up on JA98 or Kroy, plus Brandon Swain is a steal in this draft, watch out. New mock.I do like Orakpo though

Not to mention cb take about three years to develop so no matter who you draft this year they will not be an impact player until three years from now!Where did you get that from? There are many CBs who just come out of no where without any special development. And there are cornerbacks in the league who have made an impact since day one. For example, Darrelle Revis from the Jets.

Champ Bailey, Asante Samuel & Asomugha Nnamdi all took over three years to develop into the Pro Bowl caliber players that they are today! head busta from augusta
My point is you have a better chance in drafting a good CB in later rounds than in the first.
Libid21
Regardless of position, all college prospects have to 'develop' into NFL players, but CBs don't take 3 years. MAYBE a year to fully develop, but mostly all of the CBs drafted become impact players on day one.
A-TowN.-
Domonique Johnson in the 3rd and I think we will have a good CB crew.I really want us to get Gamble in FA though. That would be great too.Von, Foxworth, Houston, Gamble, Jackson, Johnson. You know that would be scary in the Nickel. All of those guys have a chance to start and that will make the competition on Gameday way more productive. Norwood32
I think he will prove you otherwise, and if not, Terrell Suggs...See it would be sick to get him, but i doubt he will want to come to Atlanta. Unless of course my dreams come true and we go to the playoffs. He will probably want to go to the team that gives him the most money, and he'll want to go to a good team. I don't see TD as a guy that would throw cash your way to get you to sign (cough*McKay*cough) and again he will think we are "re-building" and all that crap. Plus i don't know much about Suggs, except that he's good, but is he a good guy or will the team stay away from him because he's a distraction. That's why as of right now I'm not getting my hopes up that we sign him so i don't include him in any of my mocks.
