Libid21
Okay, man... we get that you like Eric Berry from Tennessee, but it's really just beyond speculation right now because not only is he just a sophomore, but you have no idea who we will draft this year or how we will address the safety position this year and you don't even know if we'll be in the position to draft someone like him next year. It's like a Lions fan saying "Oh man, I hope we draft Pryor, he's my favorite player!" ...sorry, bud, but it seems like the Lions will go with a QB this year. Do you get what I'm saying? Falcon Fanatic
How about none of the above. Safety is a relatively inexpensive position in free agency compared to other positions. Get a proven safety there and use the high pick on a lineman.

A-TowN.-
Eric Berry isn't even declaring for the draft. Moore is definitely better.

Waste of high-draft picks (and money) on a position that doesn't impact the game every play. Not that I don't like some of these players, but drafting a safety early is bad value. So I'd say Chung or Willey. Moore is definitely better.Eric Berry is arguably one of the best safety prospects to come out since Laron Landry. Ofcourse they're not the same type of players, but Berry is projected Top 15, maybe even Top 10.

Now you tell me... who will be in the free agency pool that will make a bigger impact than William Moore, Taylor Mays, Myron Rolle, etc.? He is really good, but I feel Moore has more experience. If we could get Moore this year or Eric Berry next year I wouldn't complain. The Dirty Bird
1) We don't need TWO safeties, we need one. We signed Erik Coleman last offseason to be our FS for now and the future. He was dynamite at FS when the Jets ran a 4-3 Cover 2 his rookie season but then they changed to the 3-4 and he didn't fit well in the scheme. He is still young and will hold down the FS spot. We need to draft a young Strong Safety to take over the position and/or be groomed under Lawyer Milloy.2) Berry is over-hyped. I know you love him, I wouldn't be surprised if your room was decorated with a shrine of the man, but when you center everything the idea that we are going to draft Eric Berry WHEN he delcares, and we don't know when that will be, everything you are going to say or speculate about how we are going to draft is going to be either foolish or misleading. This draft is going to be very deep with talent at the Safety position, and as it is one of our major needs, why would we not draft one now?
