This Bye Week couldn't have come at a better time

We don't have serious injuries that our guys need to heel from or anything like that, but rather for the mental aspect of having just had one of the greatest games in franchise history with probably the best finish for the Falcons ever. The euphoria surrounding this team must have been enormous after that game, and it would have been very easy to find themselves unable to shift their focus to Philly in time to get properly prepared for the game.

I love that we have 2 weeks to prepare for the Eagles, but once again Ryan is going to have to win us this game, because Turner will more than likely have another 40-50 yard game. As long as he can have a couple nice runs to at least keep the defense honest about his presence, then it should open the pass game just a little.

I couldn't agree more, back to back wins, one that was almost a heartbreaker (actually was for Bears fans.) and we get the bye week. Had that game not been so emotionally draining, as I'm sure it was, I wouldn't want to interupt our hot streak. But am glad for the 2 weeks to prepare for Philly. Unfortunatly, they have 2 weeks as well. :(

yup. we dont have many serious injuries, which is great. it gives white, robinson, jefferson and grimes some time to get back to 100%. our entire team should be feeling pretty good.

it helped, like you guys said, to also bring us back down to earth from that win. this team could've gotten a little balloon headed w/ those 2 really nice wins. we know we'll be 110% focused for PHI.

Their run d has been a little spotty the last couple of games and it wasn't Tampa or Chicago to begin with.......Turner could get 75-90 yds........

its a two edged sword...good for us w/ white and the others...bad for us because they get time to get Westbrook healthy

I love Westbrook......that guy is a warrior.

Don't get me wrong Westbrook is the man...BUT I would rather he take a couple of more weeks off to make sure he is healthy.

(like maybe until the week after the Eagles play us. ;))

Yeah, that would be fine with me also....... ;)

Rest up Brian....It's a long season.

I was thinking the same thing. Although what I want to see from this team, that didn't happen with Mora, is a team that can go out, win big or a big game then turn around and win the next week. Which kind of happened from GB to Chicago, but I would like to see the trend continue.
