Does Roger Goodell know football is a contact sport or is he just an idiot?

Eric Smith and Hines Ward to name a couple have been made examples of to not play rough in the NFL. I hope the players union stands up and wont take all these fines and suspensions handed down by God dell. Roger is screwing up the game. I want my violent football back.
