WineBird
Didn't see this posted on the first couple pages. Search feature is broken, so sue me if you've seen it already.LINKSources in Atlanta don't expect the Falcons to change a whole lot during their bye week. Things are going far better than anyone expected and there's not much of a need to tweak lineups on offense and defense. However, there could be a change made on punt returns, the way we hear it. Adam Jennings has handled the duties thus far, but he's gaining just 6.8 yards per return, which left the Falcons ranked 25th in the league as they headed into their bye week. Jennings also has muffed two returns, which is tied for a league high. Word is rookie WR Harry Douglas will get more looks at the position and he's being groomed to eventually take over full time. Douglas has made his mark as a receiver and ballcarrier on reverse plays this season, but scouts envisioned him as a punt returner, as well, when he left Louisville. Absolute
I have been waiting for this move all season! Coach Smith said that they will fix the punt return and that every position is open competition so we may see the light at the end of the tunnel against Philly. WineBird
As far as I'm concerned we could put Grady back there and he would scare me less than Jennings.
stumpjumper
As far as I'm concerned we could put Grady back there and he would scare me less than Jennings.I think Grady could rumble ahead for at least 7 yards a return!
gjlaf
Douglas is a good call for the position.Jennings has obviously had issues with the duty so rotate him out.
WineBird
I think Grady could rumble ahead for at least 7 yards a return! Oooohhh, put him on kickoffs and tie a chicken pot pie to the back of the wedge!

FalconWong88
I'm not sure... Putting Grady back there could = big time runs.If he could eat a couple of the defenders on the way back to the endzone.

Ghost Rider
Look for Jennings to be cut real soon then. He surves no other purpose but to scare the **** out of us every time he goes back for a return. Dude is gone. HIP HIP HERAY, HIP HIP HERAY!!!!
