The Dirty Bird
I'm not giving up on him - I am just wondering.I have read rumors that say the FO is disappointed with him and I know he has been battling some injuries.I think if he can stay healthy he can be good but he hasn't been able to in Atlanta and imo if we could get a 4th-5th rounder for him I think I'd take it. Robinson is a solid receiver who can bring depth to this team. I'm not too sure you can find too many receivers in the fourth or fifth round as good as Robinson, so I doubt we'd get fair value for Robinson in those rounds. I am not giving up on Laurent on him being a good football player. However if we could get a 4th-5th round pick for him, I would take it.Also, the bolded section of your post is false. Scott24Falcons
Why would another team give up a pick for a guy that *supposedly* is seen as a disappointment by his team's FO, not to mention the injuries he has been battling? Makes no sense to me.

Makes no sense to me.It was only a rumor, he is recovering from his injury, and he has the tools to be good.I'm not saying someone would trade for him, but I'm saying if we could shop him around for a 4th-5th than I'd do it.Two guys that will be there in that range I would take over Laurent, and both are WR/KRs.4th: Derrick Williams, PSU.5th: Ben Tate, UNC. He might even be more injury-prone than Robinson seeing the type of injury he just suffered...
Norwood32
You wanna trade Chris Houston now Laurent Robinson? Why would we trade our up and coming young players? Doesn't make sense to me...
Goat
Want to trade Matt Ryan too? But really, what's up with you in trades?
KRUNKuno
im all for trading houston, but im waiting on Laurent. when healthy he's an under tha radar threat. but he's just never healthy. if he doesnt play after tha bye week then im revving up tha "trade robinson" vehicle. The Dirty Bird
These are just questions.I do want to trade Chris Houston because despite being a young, very talented CB he does not fit in our new Cover-2 D. That was one reason why we traded D-Hall.I like Laurent but I'm concerned about his nagging injuries that he prevented him from being on the field. If you recall he was supposed to be the #2 this season but hasn't been able to get on the field. I am not advocating for trading Laurent, he is finally getting healthy and I am excited to see what he can do - but I am advocating for trading Houston. He is a good young corner but he is a better fit for a different defense and we can use the draft pick for someone that better fits our defensive scheme. And no, I would not trade Matt Ryan, unless it were for an 800 pound Jamarcus Russel. The thought just intrigues me.
