ATLFalcon36
That's the beauty of football man, for that 3-4 hours nothing else matters... its just you, thousands of fans, and the team all with a common goal in mind... winning... Tandy
Keep your head up, young man. Let me tell you, us old folks have been there. I always tell myself - This Too, Shall Pass. As hard as it is now - as futile as it seems - this too, shall pass. For a great example of that - look at last years Falcons - how did I get through the agony and humiliation and constant aggravation from "friends", co-workers, media and opposing team fans - I kept telling myself - This Too, Shall Pass!Work hard, stay busy - keep your mind going on other things - good luck in school and remember - This Too, Shall Pass! gitwitme
There's always light at the end of the tunnel. Believe me, I know. Keep your head up, and if the Falcs can be your source of happiness right now, then I hope they go undefeated for the rest of the season. Jesus
being completely led on and torturedBeing a Falcons fan you should be used to this by now. In fact this is how it feels after the first five weeks. End of season 1980: "12-4 best record, best offense in the NFC." two weeks later. "F'n Cowboys."Preseason 92: "Farve was a drunk who couldn't read his playbook. Tony Smith is going to be the best RB in the game Great #1 pick." Preseason 94 "Tony Who?"Preseason 95: "I'm so excited about this red gun offense." End of season: "We need a new coach."Post NFC Champ game 98: "We're going to do it!" Sunday Morning of the big game: "F'n Eugene Robinson. Keep it in your pants chief."Draft Day 01:: "Michael Vick is going to change the QB position forever." Six years later "Oops."The torture is the fun part of our masochistic relationship with this football team.
