crankdatfalcon
towards the end of the interview, ryan cameron said, matt, im gonna tell you like i told you at the beginning of training camp, its superbowl or bust..of course it was meant as a joke (i think), but matt's response was were doing everything we can, and were just gonna take it one game at a time. i like the way he carries himself on and off the field. hes a true professional, answers questions like a true professional, kinda like joey harrington, but thats another story, and hes sounding more and more like a leader. falconsfan1987
I know it has been a long time coming but I really believe in this kid. I believe he will be a star in the NFL. I am just gald that we had TD to make the decision and not Mckay.

bighurt
Yeah I wanted Dorsey also, but I am happy that I am wrong about Ryan. That's why we as fans just have let the football guys do what they do and we do what we do. And hope that we have the right people in the front office as we now do. I expect the Falcons to finish 9-7, but wouldn't it be amazing if this team so how went to the playoffs, and not only that but keeps winning and wins a superbowl in the first year of rookie QB, Rookie Head Coach. I am saying 9-7 or 10-6 this year, better next year, and serious contenders in the 3rd year. But after 11 seconds, confidence can change a team quickly. Durrty
I also thought Glenn Dorsey was the right choice to go since we were rebuilding and typically in the NFL when you draft a QB, he doesn't begin the season as the starter. But, the more and more I kept hearing about Matt Ryan and his work ethic, how he's shown shades of Peyton Manning...and I'm a huge Manning fan...I said why not? I'm glad we got him because he easily could've been with the Ravens kick'n major a** with a solid defense. By drafting Ryan, we now have a solid shot at making the playoffs this year, and that's big for a team that's "rebuilding".

bighurt
We have the foundation for a good team. Roddy is catching everything thrown his way. Turner is a beast, and I love the left side of our line with Blaylock and Baker. Then we have some player makers on defense with Abraham, Boley, Milloy and others. Anderson had a good game and is gaining confidence. Confidence is what makes good players great players. Everyone in the NFL is good or they would not be there.
