Finishing opponents...

Recommended Posts

ok the falcons are 4-2 and we are looking to have a bright future with matt ryan as our qb and mike smith as our head coach...im loving this team as much as i did the '04 team...but anyways, to the reason why i made this thread...some friends and i were talking about the games the falcons have won and 3 out of the 4 games that we have won, we jumped on them early...but then the lions, packers, and bears (oh my!!!) start making comebacks to make it a game...i dont know if they are getting soft on play calling or we just get comfortable with the lead but we need to finish off opponents and not let them come back from any deficit.....

anyways, im done whining about that and cant wait to see where this team goes!!!

I don't think I've seen them quit on the defense. I think we still need a few pieces as paprika neck says - and we need to shore up our defiiciencies. But I really haven't seen quit. Last year - you absolutely knew when the game was over and when they quit - this year - no way.

Forget Grimes I think we have bigger issues on the other side with Houston, I went ballistic yesterday when he let Davis run right past him, I went fuggin nutz. At least Grimes plays the ball he just not tall enough but houston is wal taller and a high second round pick I expect way more than he did yesterday, he looked like mini hall out there.

Oh I forgot about the playcalling on d we are way to soft. Even the announcers notice it and were saying we play a bend don't break d, but we need to put our players in the best position to win like on offense, take Brooking out for a couple of plays and rest him and put Nicholas in, even put in Wire, I know we rotate every one else but him out and he's one of the oldest players on D that's in every down and makes no impact so it's like we are 11-10. Send Boley on a blitz every now and then and rotate Nicholas over to his side.

STOP IT!

average size for a corner is 5'11

Houston is 5'11

grimes is 5'10

you guys talk about him like he is 4 feet tall

his height is not an excuse for his play, even if it was he's not gonna get taller
