Atlsport
That the Packers and Bears games are those games where the team steals away some wins in a season they aren't expected to? We were underdogs the last two games, and will probably be against PHI. It's an accomplishment to have won two in a row and even moreso as underdogs, unless I forgot we haven't won three in a row since our last playoff season. If the team comes out flat in Philly and loses that game then doubt creeps back into the picture. It's a very tough looking schedule ahead. Every team in the NFL comes out flat for a few games no matter how good they are and we've still got some games like that ahead of us. I would like to think that we can steal a few more games away but even if we only win two more games this season I would still consider it a successful year. Coming into this season I think many would have agreed that 6-10 is an improvement. So what I'm asking is whether you look at the very real possibility of a 6-10 season as an improvement over last year, or if after our recent success it would be consider failure in your view because you've raised the bar and expect more? faninmd
Those games are hardly ever back to back.
Guest james h.
I don't think the bar has moved as far as expectations go. The team has just surprised some folks. It is absolutely an improvement though, inside and out. It's even a more exciting place to work now.
Atlsport
Those games are hardly ever back to back.No difference to me whether back to back or spread out. Have you raised the bar to where 6-10 would be a failure to improve?
Guest james h.
And I'll quote chaplain James Trapp again, from my blog a few weeks ago... Mr. Trapp asked J.Mike and I what we think has changed in the team since last year. The ultimate answer was, "heart"... The new talent is awesome, but the real difference is that this team loves playing football again - playing with, and for, each other, their coaches, and their fans. That is the improvement. falconfanjason
I would like to see 8-8 at the very least, no reason why this team can't win four more games.

I think that for this team to reach that - we are successful. I expect one thing and one thing only from this team - play every game 60 minutes - don't quit on it - and learn from your mistakes. If they do that every game - we will "steal" a few games no one expects - how many? We won't know that until the season is over. Either way - I'm happy with what I see - and I think we just look better all the time. It's frankly been more than we could have asked for - these guys are gelling quite well into a team. I like that response, it seems to be reflective of how much more effectively things are being run up there. I can only imagine how much more exciting it must be, they are certainly more exciting to follow for those that watch the product on the field. This is exciting as it has been in years!
mcsupersport
Anything over 6-10 is bonus time, but I really think 8-8 is very possible, and 10-6 is not completely out of the picture. For 10-6 it would take the Falcons playing very well, with lots of heart, and a little luck to make it, but it is possible given the attitude I saw against the Bears. But in reality anything over six wins I say is a great season.
