Anyone going to Phildelphia?

I'll be going! We are in the endzone, 27 rows up. Got the seats for around 150 which isn't too bad. I didn't want to expose myself to the drudgery of the fans in Phialdelphia's upper level, so it was worth the extra coin.

I'll cheer for my team, but will probably not be as vocal as I would be in, well, any of the other 31 stadiums in the NFL. That place is for hooligans.

Me and my friend are making the trip from Atlanta. This is our 1st trip to Philly so we will be stereotypical tourist. We are searching for a Falcon friendly tailgate to hang out at (wouldn't show up empty handed). Also, interested in general advice about the city; where should the tourist crowd stick to and what areas should they avoid?

Also, Philly has a pretty bad reputation about their fan's hospitality. Is it really that bad??? I can take heckles and lip service all day long, but if people are doing anything physically to me I won't be able to control myself. I'm too old to be fighting people at a football game, so if the threat of someone pouring a drink on me or giving me a hard shoulder in the hallways is real.... then I'll choose to be the better man and avoid wearing Falcons gear. I’m not a punk, but I've out-grown fighting over football games ever since I was 15.

My advice, wear your Falcon gear, but try to meet the folks around you and show you are a nice person before the game. Once you do that, just cheer for your team without being obnoxious and you'll be in the clear. Heckling is probably going to happen, especially if you are in the upper deck. But, it should be a lot of fun, maybe we'll cross paths.

GO FALCONS!
