~SEAMILL~
I knows this sounds weird but hear me out. Say we lose the game. What would you think? Coach always talks about this as a "process" and we all know that we are rebuilding. If we lose its a terrible loss, one that we should have won (if Elam makes the first kick to go up 9). Maybe we would go in a downward spiral and lose a bunch in a row, but this a time for the rookies to grow as we prepare for the future. Roddy had a great game after we hear all week that he would be double teamed. Turners struggles, but they are one of the best run defenses in the league. Ryan proves he can pass against one of the best defenses in the league (has his best game of the year so far) and convents many long third downs. Anderson plays his best game yet and gets his first sack. Harry Douglas makes a bunch of key catches and proves he is going to be a force for this team. Most of us don't (or didn't) expect us to be playoff bound this and we are looking toward the future, being a perrenial playoff team. Even if we lost I would have been proud of how we played and saw the young guys stepping up. Your thoughts?

doubletrouble21
Elam would have a mailbox full of some not-so-nice letters.
Russdogg
that we still outplayed the bears, and they would have gotten **** lucky. a few questionable calls... the roddy touchdown called back when clabo simply dominated his man downfield, playing to the whistle...... just name one. falcon82
I didn't expect a win, I would be angry because we outplayed them, but after sleeping over it I'd say (what I always write here), we're "rebuilding" and we're playing better than any so-called-expert expected us to. We dominated them and our young guys plaed well. The future looks bright and their development is more important than w's and L's
bossFALCON™
i would have been pissed. not really at anyone on the team because they all played lights out. this would have been the first game in a long time where i could really, truthfully say we should have won, but it was stolen. harveybirdman
I think you still have to be happy with Ryan's performance even with a loss. However the critiques are still the same.Coverage over the middle of the fieldDL pressure okay but not greatTERRIBLE in the red zone, game should not have been so close
leo4prez
If the last plays never happened I would think we gave away a game that we dominated. The players outplayed a very good veteran squad in the Bears.Good thing this thread is only fiction. We're 4-2!!!!!
TeamPlayer1
What if? I'm not about to let some theoretical b.s. cheat me out of enjoying our fine win! Hey, "what if" your mother had never met your father?Get out!!!!

Hey, "what if" your mother had never met your father?Get out!!!!Well for one I wouldn't have been able to read your insightful post. The question is: Are wins more important than player development? We aint going to the Super Bowl this year.
