Who here was at the game?

Recommended Posts

1. Tons of Bears fans were at the game. At least 7000-8000.

2. Atmosphere in the cheap seats got electric after the Falcon's first field goal. WIth my sectino about 15% Bears fans, it was almost like a college atmosphere.

3. The fans were in the game all the way until the Bears score with 11 seconds left. Then it was dead. But After Ryan threw the pass to Jenkins, the place exploded. The Elam kick was one of the best moments I've ever seen live.

I made it to my first game of the year, and I lost my voice by halftime!! I was representing in the upper deck. I didn't realize how many bears fans there were until they scored that last TD. But, it was deafening whenever Elam redeemed himself !!! I picked a heck of a game to make it to. 4-2 BABY!!!!

The crowd was loud and enthuiastic. After the game, I have never seen the crowd so crazy. Everyone was screaming and high fiveing all the way outside the dome. The Bears fans were just stunned. If winning this game doesn,t generate fan interest in Atlanta, nothing will.

I second this! I mean, that's the kind of thing that used to happen to the Falcons. Not this time. Ryan, Jenkins, and Elam were all money in crunch time!! Dumbest thing the Bears did was squib kick it instead of booting it deep.

It was absolutely amazing (and kind of sad at the same time with all the Bears fans), the place erupted when Orton threw that last second TD, I was stunned.

Let's just say after the Falcons came back and won I almost got thrown out for running and jumping down the halls.

I was reppin' section 122, if anyone saw a guy painted up red and black running around freaking out, that was me.

Couldn't have said it better myself, I hated all the bears fand that were there today. Although it made it worth after that win, that Elam kick was almost undescribable...I was so down and depressed when they took the lead and when he made that...I was just so shocked!!!

Man all I can tell you is I can't speak at all, I am running a fever, and I just called in to tell my boss I WON'T be at work tomorrow.

The Dome was ROCKING. People were YELLING their butts off. I lost my voice around halftime, but I still kept screaming anyways.

When they took the lead with 11 seconds left the Bear fans went wild, and all of us just went totally numb. Then we got good field position, and Matt the ICEMAN hit that incredible pass with ONE SECOND LEFT. I just lost my mind right there, and was yelling at every Bear fan around me. When Elam hit the FG the place went WILD. Bear fans just were in total shock. They are good fans, and I harbor no malice to them, but we RODE THEIR BUTTS HARD!!!!!!!

After the game, I was in a restroom trying to release the four gallons of beer I consumed. The place was still rocking, and some Falcon Maniac came in there and said, "ALL YOU BEAR FANS GET THE F*** OUT OF HERE, AND P*** IN YOUR POCKETS, THIS PLACE IS ONLY FOR FALCON FANS!" I gotta hand it to the Bear fans: they just laughed it off.

Now lets make the Dome our Home again, and a place where opponents fear to tread.

Let's just say I've never experienced quite a tumult of emotions before. I literally was the saddest I've ever been in my life to the happiest. B)

It was crazy watching the game on TV, my case listening to it on the radio online. What was the environment like the those 18 secs.......what was it like after the field goal?

Typical half full 10 min before kickoff. Didn't realize how many Bears fans were at the game until they would actually get a first down. The home crowd was getting into it for the most part. The Bear fans would start chanting Let's Go Bears or something like that and there was enough of us to drown them out. When they scored with 11sec left they got pretty loud and for once in the game start trash talking a little bit. They were dancing around like they won. Huge cheers on Jenkins catch on around the 30 with 1 sec left. Too long on the review under 2:00 to determine it was still a catch. The Bears fans were immediately quiet after that catch. Everybody held their breath as the snap took place, the crowd noise started to surge as the ball made it's way to the uprights and the place exploded. The Falcons players excitedly swarmed the field. I believe most people were commenting on the way out between Falcon chants and high fives about what a rollercoaster ending that was.

There were alot of bears fans in the gulch trying to start some crap with a bunch of people, and I found it quite amusing that there wasn't a one to be found afterwards!!!

From my perspective in 344, it was great. There was a moment when Bears fans got a very loud "Lets go Bears" chant going - a bit disheartening to be honest, but after that 4th down goal line stand, there was no stopping us upstairs. Bears fans started chanting again and we shut them down with 'De-Fence!" Easily the best Falcons game I've ever been to. Still saw a lot of empty seats for a sold out game - and I HATE that, but wow - was it ever loud in there.

As far as it went in my section. blah blah blah for the first 59 minutes and 54 seconds.
