SLICK NICK
Watch the replay or highlights. Keep in mind the clock on the screen is not always in sync with the one on the field. Douglas goes down, and the clock goes down one extra second, But it's not a full second. So there is really seven seconds left in the game, but according to the clock is says 6 but it is 6.75 or something close to it. Therefore it looks like the clock starts late after the snap, but it doesn't it just counts the rest of the six seconds off. And Jenkins went down out of bounds with two seconds and the clock clicked it off to one. I watched it plenty of times, there was a second or second and a half left when he went out. The bears shouldn't have let him throw it, if they didn't want to lose.

Robb4242
Why did this extra second tick off?And why did this extra second tick off? Those were 2 seconds at a minimum that should have been left on the clock for us to make that kick. If anybody could complain about the timekeeping, it could be us more than the Bears. We should have had plenty of time without any controversy. Zakelsta30
It all has to do with fractions of seconds that they don't show on fox's bar on top of the screen. People at the game can attest. There were upper fractions of seconds. Just because on fox it ticked from 12 to 11, in the game it was really 11.8 or something and fox doesn't have fractions. There is no clock controversy. falcon82
I did the only thing that ends the discussion ...18sec left ... Snap to Orton, time that ticks off till TD is called 5.6 seconds. (7 seconds ran off the clock)6 sec left ... Snap to Ryan, time that ticks off till Jenkins is OOB 4.7 seconds. (5 seconds ran off the clock)Did it with a stopwatch, so margin of error is there (+/- 0.2), but I'll download the video and watch it frame by frame
