Pretty much what I expected with the Coaches' Poll. Alabama was #4 in this poll going into this week, so not a stretch to see them jumped by Texas.

Florida and Oklahoma State judging by the criteria that forces them to put SC so high week in and week out.

Why have they been the premier program though? They certainly don't win SO many more championships or make it to the BCS title game so much more than other teams.

My thing is they're there essentially b/c they're SC. They're quality win is OSU? Yet they can leapfrog an undefeated OK. state that went on the road to beat a team that folks were claiming was going to become #1 after the OU loss and who everyone expected to roll at home yesterday? That's garbage.

This is bull....I was ok with the polls until now since it was early in the season, but there is no reason USC should be ranked #4. I'm not saying this as a UGA fan either. I know UGA isn't that great so far, but UF and OK State deserve to be ahead of USC

What a team did in the past should have zero to do with the polls this year. I don't care if you want 10 bcs championships, it's about this year period. However to get back to the polls no worries frankly. When the BCS comes out UGA will be a top 7 team at the very least and if they keep winning everything will work itself out.

You have to also realize, USC is also playing in the 2nd largest media market in the country where there is no NFL team to compete with. Its sickening the media bias they are receiving though.

Florida should be 4, SC 5.. Oklahoma has 1 loss & has beaten no one, Flor & USC have 1 loss but have beaten top 5s

well put, either way were not supposed to be ahead of Flor, this poll got it wrong, the other got it right but they only dropped Oklahoma who has lost to the only team they have played only 3 spots??????

regardless of what you think of OSU, they were #5 when we beat them & we trashed them..

Your record since '01 has nothing to do with the team you have right now that lost to a 3 loss team this season. So Ohio State could win out & finish #4, which would mean we beat #4, then if Oregon, Cal, ND etc all get ranked by the end of the year than USCs schedule was filled with ranked teams.. Cant agree with this thinking man but it would be sweat for my team if this was true.

That is what SOS is, if not SOS would not matter until the end of the year vice the beginning of the year and Pre-season polls would be useless.

Who has UGA beat NOBODY, Who has Oklahoma beat NOBODY, besides Oklahoma who has Texas beat NOBODY, besides UGA who has Alabama beat NOBODY besides Ohio State who has USC beat NOBODY, besides LSU who has Florida beat NOBODY, come on guys there is alot of season left we have yet to see who is overrated, who merely slipped up, and who is the real deal, I mean your arguing about florida should be ranked higher than SC but the lost to OLE MISS so lets not jump up about that LSU game because they have played.......NOBODY so as much as everyone wants to say the polls are pulling for my Trojans i'm tired of reading about how tough the freaking SEC is, hey they gotta play each other too so it will all get worked out in the end!!!
