Electric Falcon
It really amazes me that so many people keep talking this propaganda about how the chicago bears are so scary great this close to halloween. I mean they are nothing more than "JUST ANOTHER FOOTBALL TEAM" with some talent along side with many others teams in the NFL. Our FALCONS can beat any team in the NFL at ANY TIME because we have "PROFESSIONAL" football players playing for our FALCONS "TEAM". I'm sick of hearing all the doubt as to how our Falcons "TEAM" is. We have a "TEAM" now in Atlanta and they are "GOOD!". Yeah, you have to "RESPECT" this bears team, but you also need to "REMEMBER" our "FALCONS" team is not anything Less!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMO..........BELIEVE IN THE FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "I DO!!!!!!!!!"GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pacific_Falcon
The thing that scares me about chicago most is their defensive audibles. Chicago will show blitz, and if Urlacher sees the QB audible, he pumps his fists up, and the LB's drop back into coverage. This is going to be rough on a kid who is still kind of learning the ropes in terms of reading defenses and making adjustments. I think Chicago will throw the kitchen sink at Ryan, and if White is out (I'd rather see him out and heal up,rather then take a lick in this game and be out for a good chunk of the season), it could be a long day. However, you CAN run on the Bears, and their LB's are a bit overrated I think. Their DL is very good though, so our OL will have to have a very solid game for us to win.Offensively, Orton is suddenly a competent QB this year and Forte's versatility is going to be hard to stop. Our safeties have to make smart decisions and tackle well for us to have a chance Sunday. Our Falcons have looked good offensively only against mediocre to bad defenses, but against TB and Carolina we looked awful for the most part. Chicago's D is right on that level, but if we're going to have a chance at getting a wildcard spot, we're going to have to be able to score against good defenses. So in that sense, I am looking forward to this game a lot...I want to see us have a good offensive game against a good defense.
Falcons Ace
The problem with Carolina was that Ryan couldn't get going and we lost at the LOS, they commited to the run early and Ryan couldn't step up. Same thing with Tampa, just far worse, and the fact that no rookie QB is going to have an easy time against a Monte Kiffen lead defense. sporkdevil
Their defense is good. I feel like our secondary will play well against their scrubby WR's though. It will not be an easy game, between Hester, Forte, Briggs, Urlacher, and Harris. If our defense can keep them low, I feel like we win. But it should be a low scoring game. And TOUGH. falconhammer55/56
Every team in the NFL can be beat any Sunday. The Falcons, Bears, Pats, and yes even the Cowboys can loose to anybody in this league. We have the advantage of not being expected to win most Sundays. Seems like no matter how well we play we never get much love. Has been that way for the Falcons for most of my 25 years has a fan. Which is just fine with me, I hope the rest of the NFC keeps over looking us, if they do we may very well sneak up on a few teams when play-off time rools around. The key thing for me is that you said you RESPECT the Bears. I've come here with much respect for how your team has turned it around from some real bad things. A lot of you, however, seem to think that you are going to roll over the Bears. I don't think that is going to happen. The media has been slamming us for years, but our D has always proved them wrong. And when our O plays well, we are truly dangerous. Good Luck! Hey, I have to say nothing but respect for you Chicago Bear fans and your team. Trust me when I say us Falcons fans know about getting our team slammed by the media. I checked out the bears website and it was interesting to see the "RESPECT" that has been given when our Atlanta Falcons were the topic of discussion. I have to say that you bear fans that I have read comments from for the most part have shown a lot of class. Ya know the media keeps talking about similarities between our two teams, but I know you being a bears fan have went through the process of re-building a team and getting a new head coach in "Lovie Smith" . Chicago has a great thing going there, as do our Atlanta Falcons here in Atlanta. I couldn't be happier with our new head coach "Mike Smith", both teams coaches are defensive minded and physical type of coaches, JMO, they believe you play smash mouth football. We got a GREAT coach in Mike Smith, as do you in Lovie Smith. "LOL, SMITH". We don't have Emmit but we got da' Burner!!! So WATCH OUT! :P This is gonna be a hard fought game, but I really like the fact that for the most part fans of both teams have shown class when commenting on the game along with the teams players and the coaches. Nothing but "RESPECT". Yeah it's gonna be a war so to speak, but it's more of a "Less see what we got" and win or lose we will learn on both sides of the field and that is being said for both teams. IMO...... That being said, I hope our Falcons rise to the occasion, "I BELIEVE" in our "TEAM". GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring It
Before the Bears "woke up" and inserted Kyle Orton as their starting QB, they were an average team. Orton is a really good QB. Very good. He's been a winner his whole life. He has elevated the Bears into a legitimate playoff contender.............better than Green Bay..............any day.We have our work cut out for us Sunday, believe me.Can we win ??Maybe, but only if we continue to play smart, mistake free football, PROTECT RYAN, and run the ball often and very well.Otherwise, Bears win. Just a thought, I'd give the edge to Abe. Especially if Grady Jackson is in the game, I think Grady is crucial to this team going up against the bears. JMO...... We shall see......GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
