What time does the Dome open?

Yeah I went in an hour early and it was DEAD.

11am is when they radio to the gates to start admitting fans. I am usually the first in at my gate.

To me, those 2 hours are some of the best parts of the day.

Individual players come out 2 hours before the game, you can see into their warmups and see who is loose and who may be working through injury. To me watching the QB's warm up, is very interesting stuff. Matt Ryan is a passing machine.

Norwood is always one of the first out, as well as the DE's. Abe included. Kroy, JA55 and JA98 spend some time running and such.

Adam Jennings always comes out to warm up, he almost never drops a warm up ball, yeah wouldn't that figure.

If you want to get to see and learn more about the players capabilities, other than in game, the 11am-1pm is a great time. Sure it is dead in the dome for the first hour, but there is so much team stuff happening it is amazing. Being there early with binoculars is like "your" private warmup session.

For anybody to not enjoy the 2 hours before the game, well, you are missing a lot.

fwiw, a good pair of binoculars in the Georgia Dome allows you to see right into the ear holes of the helmets.
