bearmick
In Chicago, we love our team's past greats, and honor them regularly. Gayle Sayers, Mike Ditka, Bill George, Red Grange, Mike Singletary, Walter Payton etc. Most Hall of Famers in the NFL. Who do you consider the all time great Falcons? The legends who's name stays with the franchise with pride?

Tandy
Did I read the Falcons have ZERO Hall of Famers? How can that be?Mostly because of our lack of success in sustaining winning seasons. We definitely had a few players who deserved go to the hall.As for my most beloved players:Jeff Van NoteTommy NobisJessie "The Hammer" TuggleWilliam "Don't Call Me Bill" AndrewsScott CaseSteve BartkowskiGerald RiggsKeith BrookingAlfred JenkinsMike KennFulton Kuykendall - (in fact - the entire Gritz Blitz Defense)Jamal AndersonWarrick DunnPatrick KearneyBob ChristianClaude HumphreyJohn ZookJim MitchellJim Butler

Tyrano Case
William Andrews, Scott Case and Deion for me are the top three. I have never been in a statium where a player (Deion) preparing to field a punt made my hair stand up on my neck.

FalconFanForLife
Yeah we have no one in the HoF because of our awful record over the entire history of our franchise. But I think the NFL has done a great disservice to two Falcons in particular. I really think Claude Humphrey and Tommy Nobis should be enshrined in the HoF. But we don't get to make that call. It's hard to be a fan of this team over so many disappointing seasons, and honestly, I have to admit I envy fans of teams like the Bears with so many well known legends and Super Bowl victories. When I was a kid growing up (lol I am 53 now), I thought **** Butkus was the greatest NFL player of all time. He was just such a dominating monster when he played, and he played with a NASTY streak that you seldom see matched. When he cried during his Hall of Fame induction, I was rolling on the floor laughing at the irony of it all. One of the meanest guys to ever suit up, and bawling like a baby. I still love Butkus.Claude Humphrey was up for the HoF this past year, but passed over once again. Bummer
