propithic
In the 7:00 ET edition of Sports Center, during the top ten NFL surprises of the week, the announcer stated that the Falcons only had one win last season. That's so bogus. No wonder they all thought we were so bad coming into this year, they've got us mixed up with the Dolphins. And, during that same list, while the Dolphins were being discussed, no mention was made of their one-win season last year. That's just bull****. I know I'm a newbie and nobody cares. I just had to say something. Those jerks.

FalconFanForLife
LMAO - wow that is just unbelievable that they can't get the record straight with all the PC power they have at their disposal. Can't the idiots just log on NFL.com before they strike the stupid bell. :P This is another perfect example of why people should avoid ESPN. It's fine for entertainment, but a joke as a serious media outlet for sports. Their ANALysts are some of the worst in sports reporting. beatzfreak
He spoke incorrectly, what he meant to say was that the falcons only had 1 "more" win last year than they do so far...but burn him at the stake if you must.

RIfalcon
i was watching NFL networks highlights of the game (ATL Vs. GB) and they showed the clip of Jerious Norwoods good kick return...and the guy said...geez either this guy is fumbling the ball or he's getting a good return....since when did jerious fumble? he is thinking of Jennings i think...anyone else pick up on that? sporkdevil
I also saw on ESPN on who is more surprising, us or the Dolphins. One guy was talking about the Dolphins, and how great their defense is, with Porter with 5.5 sacks (while Abe has 7), and apparently Chris Long looks to be the real deal (Yes, CHRIS Long has really been showing up for their defense). What a joke.

propithic
All those ESPN guys are going to eat crow once the Falcons become the gold standard for rebuilding teams. Years from now teams that are rising from the dust will look to the example set here in the Big A. They'll look for productive team players with good skill sets and return to the fundamentals of good defense and establishing the run. The future is bright. OK, I'm going back to obscurity now. Voice of Reason
i was watching NFL networks highlights of the game (ATL Vs. They always say that the only reason they show a kick return is if the player either fumbles, or breaks it big. They never said or even insinuated that Jerious fumbles. But as for ESPN (or as someone here has cleverly called them FUESPN) they never care to get their story correct, so it should not surprise anyone.
