Domonique Foxworth

The coaches must like what they are seeing in practice. With the way Grimes is getting picked on out there. Foxworth must be 10x worst in practice. No other way to explain why he isn't playing more. It has nothing to do with learning the system.

i ont understand your logic. you said no other reason?...we are playing a system defense not straight up man stick coverage. have you watched one falcon game or press conference all year? ;)

When are the Falcons going to give Domonique some starting time? This guy is a beast and he is sitting on the bench!!! Didn't they trade for him for a reason?

Okay. Let's hold up a minute. "A beast"? Really? A nickelback cut early in the season from the Broncos is "a beast"?

Good? Maybe

More experienced? Yes.

A beast? I think you define "beast" a little loosely.

Wasn't cut, he was traded. It could the same situation as Turner in SD. Foxworth was playing behind 2 of the best corners (one of them is the best) in the league in Bailey and Dre Bly, so he's not gonna get on the field too much.

I understand Foxworth is a good player and all but if he was so great as fans make him out to be trust me Denver would not have let him go. He reminds me a bit of Schaub trade, we pulled of a great trade and now Texan's aren't sure if he's starting material (Rosenfals screwed up the last 4 minutes but had the one the game, he would've been the starter no question). Not saying Foxworth is not good but I'm saying I trust these coaches and if they feel like Grimes needs to be replaced then they'll do it.

The reality is that we are 3-2..........which is obviously on the upside of things. Why change what you have when its working. We havent lost a game yet due to poor defense. We got him for insurance......sure it cost a pick but 9 times out of 10 that pick doesnt make the roster (see Fontenont and Stone). I personally hope he stays on the bench because that will mean we are still on the upside of things. If he comes off the bench its because we are on the decline.

Okay. Point taken. He was traded, not cut.

Still...

"Beast"?

Can't we like a player without over-hyping him?
