Durrty
The first thread was supposed to be a poll, my bad...I just wanted to see how many fans share the same faith as I do in the Falcons...I think we have a solid chance of winning if we do great on two things and that's special teams and stopping the run. We all know this game will rely heavily on our defense, not Ryan's play or Turner's play. We must be able to frustrate the Chicago offense by having them start behind the 20-yard line at ALL times, Koenen can do that. We've been pretty successful stopping the run, so check that one off the list too. I think the biggest task for our offense is to convert on 3rd down, but we have to put ourselves in position to make those 3rd downs...no need for big pass plays or tosses, just simple up the gut runs and short passes. What do you guys think?? Nighteyes
it is still up in the air for me but i do think it will be close and can go either way
helmsman
All depends on our pass rush. We get Orton off balance he will either take some sacks or throw some INTs. We have to stop the Bears offense to have any chance at this game.
Tandy
If we go out and play 60 minutes of hard, physical, smart football, make the right adjustments and do the things we are successful at - then yes - we will win. But, this is not a cakewalk - we need to be on top of our game and we need to be there for the full 60.
