I knew that Nate Burleson for the 'Hawks was gone for the season, but I didn't know that 5 other receivers were injured as well!

The Seahawks have lost six players to injuries at the position, including three for the entire season.

The Seahawks placed receiver Logan Payne on the injured reserve list with a torn ligament in his right knee on Monday, when it was also learned that backup quarterback Seneca Wallace -- who was going to see time at wideout as an emergency fill-in -— would be out for a month with a calf injury.

Along with Payne, receivers Nate Burleson (torn knee ligament) and Ben Obomanu (broken collarbone) are out for the season. Veterans Deion Branch (recovering from a torn ACL) and Bobby Engram (cracked bone in his shoulder) are expected to be ready after the Seahawks' bye week.
