EMerckx_69
That's the best news I've heard today. I was not looking forward to staying up late Friday night smoaking food, getting up early to drive to Athens and then bake myself in the sun at 3:30. The Central Michigan game was terrible at that time. Thank you CBS for not choosing this game.
Remarkable
The Alabama game last year sucked minus the last play. Hopefully it's better this time.

slamee101
It's interesting b/c I heard that this was "quietly confirmed" about a month ago. A few websites had it posted saying that there are a few special circumstances in which ESPN gets to choose which game they want first over CBS. Not sure how that works though. SacFalcFan
One more thing this will be our blackout game.. count on it. it will be the biggest recruiting weekend all year for UGA. We have a ton of top flight prospects in town for this game from marlon brown to even montez robinson.

I don't know what it was like watching it on TV, but being in Tuscalosa for the game was unbelievable. And this year is going to be even better. You had some great defense, some outstanding offensive plays. The atmosphere was electric and you could get that from watching it on tv. It was a great game IMO. With the blackout this year I think it's going to be even better.
dan9124
I dont know, after what happened last year up in Knoxville, I think the players might want the UT game to be the blackout game..
