SWIFT HITTER
He showed the fire and heart not to let the refs get the better of us..He shows he has complete control of this teamand that he has a plan in place for our defensive line. Our dline looked fresh ..Understand we didnt put much pressure but the rotation was nice..The team did not give up and fought...He was a great hire..Thanks TD
SetzerFalcon
During the whole to-do with the refs my wife was in here watching the game with me and she goes, "Who is that white haired guy?" So I told her that was Coach Smith and she said, "Man, I think he's about to explode." I explained the situation and she pretty much responded with, "If I played a sport that's the kind of coach I'd want looking out for me."When someone who knows next to nothing about football can see the kind of heart Coach Smith has, you know you've got a keeper. R.C. Collins
Let's hope we have a Coach that will be around for a while. That would be a breath of fresh air for us.
vafalconfan
I agree, Smith was impressive. He has a command of the game.
sdogg
Those Refs were just complete morons. They had no clue what they were calling. Im so glad Mike didnt allow their ignorance to screw us on that off setting penalties fiasco.
KRUNKuno
that stint with tha refs was classic. you could literally see what Coach Smith was saying to tha refs. he got in their arses.
blizzard_falcon
I thought he handled himself very well in the press conference, too.I know if I were him I would have called Gruden out for trying to run up the score at the end! haha

But we will get out chance at them, back in the Dome.

I saw Boley come over to him and kind of give him Smith a "that's right coach you tell em."It looked like the team really liked how he stood up for his team and the fire he displayed.I know I liked it. Magic Man
He is a great hire. For the most part, he looks like the nicest guy, but he looked like he was going to kill someone over the botched "offsetting" penalties call.
The_ATL
I thought it was funny as **** that he started to smile while he was yelling. Was one of those I'm smiling to stop myself from killing you smirks.
ProtoType
That's if Blank keeps him if we do bad this season.
Falcons Ace
I actually was laughing my head off. He looks like he is about to strange someone, then he puts his hands behind his back and smiles, and then he starts going ballistic. It was pretty comical. Ethanga62890
If the players and fans keep responding to him Blank WILL keep him.
FalconFanForLife
Yeah I really like the combination for fire and ice that Smith brings to the organization. He has a good friendly rapport with the players, yet we have seen enough to know he can also toe the line with them.He gets an A+ for his game management yesterday with his successful challenge, and for pulling the refs' heads out of their collective arses.
