Quicksand
Being able to come out all jumpy and then correct himself in stride shows a lot about his constitution and perseverance. He didn't let the bad start get to him, and he kept hanging in the pocket when he knew hits were coming.Fantastic choice by the front office, Ryan has all the attributes and all that is needed is experience. Quicksand
Oh, by the way: Fantastic play calling by Mularkey and keeping trust in Ryan to make the throws.

Demetrius Dew
I agree, but I think he needs to work on his deep ball as several of his deep balls look a tib bit off.
Falcons Ace
For sure. 1st game on the road against the best NFL pass defense. He takes his beatings, adjusts, and performs admirably in the 2nd half.
BlacksburgHokie
I LOVE the way that he didn't melt down at the end of the game - it was so refreshing to see that from a Falcons QB. Considering we called approximately 234279385923 straight pass plays, he did a good job handling the rush and throwing it away when there was nobody open. After the start that he had, it was good to see the way he bounced back... He really looked like a rookie today. In the first half he was terrible. He came back in the second half but still looked terrible in his velocity. "Happy Feet" will get you high passes but some of those passes looked like 'fades' except they weren't going into the endzone. Speaking of fades, where was Finneran in the red zone when we couldn't get a TD. At least try a fade to the big guy.

Falconnole
I agree Ryan showed he could learn and bounce back from his mistakes! Im more than willing to give him the rest of the year and next if necessary to develop. Vick didnt show true signs of improvement at first. (Other than running and i dont count that as passing improvements) So we will have to see what he does next week and see if he can right his wrongs. budd63
What gets me is the people on this board annointed him a saint a week ago are now calling him ryan leaf and so on. I thought the kis played well under the circumstances. Once Baker went down the left side collapsed. I thought we would do better in the rushing department.
