mashedpotato
If Brooks doesn't play this could be a long day for the Bucs but even if he does I expect Atlanta's offense to put up plenty of points Sunday. We are going to go against the defense of Monty Kiffin which got slashed last week. DOn't forget that we slashed up Marinelli of Detroit who learned everything from Kiffin and uses almost the exact same defense. Don't forget that Atlanta is young and every week these young guys should improve and learn what they do well and what they don't. I'm not saying it's gonna be easy as it was in Detroit but it's gonna be easier than you might think. The Buc fans have to be extremely worried. It's a good time to be a Falcon fan!!! norbendon
I'm not so sure. With young teams you're going to have good weeks and bad weeks. Also, Tampa's defense has a lot of pride and they've been good for too long and have too much talent not to fix some things. It's going to take a good game plan and good execution by our guys to score a bunch of points. Even now, Tampa's defense isn't Detroit. They may have the same scheme, but they are better and they always bring their A-game against us. They have too much to play for. So do we. That's why I think the score will be close and it will be a dogfight to the end.
FalconFanForLife
Well it's true they run similar defenses, but I think Tampa has much better and surely faster players on defense than Detroit. So I don't know if the two are that comparable. Also, New Orleans may just be another offensive powerhouse this season, so not sure if the gains made were due to poor play of the Bucs or great play from the Saints. Also we play in their stadium where it's harder for the offensive line to get a good jump on the snap count than in our Dome. Our offensive line will need to be very disciplined. But if our guys play with the intensity they did last week, we can do it !!!!
