ProtoType
He is clearly our best CB right now, so I don't see why they don't start him this week.
B^rooklyn
Learnig defensive schemes, plays, and understanding your role takes time.I agree that he is our best CB right now, and we do need him out there as soon as possible.

ProtoType
Because he clearly is our best CB...come on now, you can't really say houston or Grimes is better then Foxworth...Foxworth has proven he can be a #1 or even a #2 Starting CB. pzummo
where do you get that he is clearly the team's best CB?Didn't you know, backups are ALWAYS better than the starters! It doesn't matter if they are Atlanta's backups, Denver's backups, or even college backups. They are always better than the starters. If they weren't than we wouldn't have anything to talk about. Duh!

He was Denver's 4th string CB behind Champ, Bly, and some guy named Jack Williams.

How has he proven to be a 1 or 2 when has never done it at this level? I think Foxworth will add a lot of depth and can provide help as a nickel corner, but the future is in Chris Houston. Even though he's had his struggles, I see a lot of improvement and I think he fits perfectly in the cover 2 scheme... Grimes is pretty good too! ProtoType
Are you guys really this stupid? Foxworth is a proven CB..reason why he wasn't starting is because of Bly and Champ...He was brought here to be a starter. Grimes is to short, can hop and has some good coverage skills but he is still unproven.Houston still needs some time to improve his game. B^rooklyn
wow..u got to have alot of pride to still display and support dhall after him being abused like a manchild monday night. Please dont come at me like that.DeAngelo Hall inspired me to play Football, something alot of you just talk about and never do.I said this once and I'm gonna say it again, dont come at me with your BS opinions about Hall. IDC what you think. You think I'm not aware about Hall's performance, I am very aware and I'm sure he will bounce back.I respect you, you respect me.BTW who was talking about Hall ? I thought this was about D-Worth.

pzummo
Because he clearly is our best CB...come on now, you can't really say houston or Grimes is better then Foxworth...Foxworth has proven he can be a #1 or even a #2 Starting CB.For the record, a #1 corner is better than a #2 corner. Your statement should read, "Foxworth has proven he can be a #2 or even a #1 starting CB." If you can be a #1, there's no question you can be a #2, so saying "or even a" makes absolutely no sense. Regardless, he hasn't proven he can be even a #2, nevermind a #1. He has proven he's faster than a bat atta **** though. But I think this draft class has proven it takes a lot more than workout numbers to succeed in this league. 3 INT's in 3 seasons doesn't proven anything. innovativefx
Would not surprise me if he took Houston's starting job.... but I think the coaches are really high on Grimes still (and so am I).Houston still looks rough at times - Houston may end up being NB for now. 1989Fan
Darrent Williamsyes, but why wasnt Foxworth made the starter and a new NB brought in? The poster said Foxworth is so good and is proven to be a #1 or 2 CB.DEN has showed at least 3 examples of why they dont think he is. B^rooklyn
OMFGIt doesnt matter where D-Worth should stand in the depth chart, we need help in our secondary. RIGHT NOW!!The question was when can he help us, and ya turn the topic to some BS about how good he is and compare talent. STFU we need D-Worth, he played well for Denver and he will do same here. RIGHT NOW!!The question was when can he help us, and ya turn the topic to some BS about how good he is and compare talent. STFU we need D-Worth, he played well for Denver and he will do same here. I understand that DHall is your favorite player and he is what got you started in football. DHall has loads of talent, and trying to emulate that is a great thing. But try not to emulate his attitude, because that's the only thing holding him back. In other words, breathe, calm down, and understand one thing. You're wrong, that wasn't the question. The topic title is about Foxworth becoming a starter and the post that followed was, and I quote, "He is clearly our best CB right now, so I don't see why they don't start him this week." So no, the question was not when he can help us. The statement was that he is the best CB and the question was when is he gonna be a starter. The posters in this thread stayed with the topic because there is question as to how good he is and how his talents compare to our current starters.
