Flayko247
Was "supposedly" making a mistake starting a rookie quarterback and "unproven" running back behind a "suspect and shaky"line!!!And let's not forget we let "all" our former pro-bowl players go leaving a "suspect" secondary!! :P
birdz4i
yeah but it was only the lions. i be a lil less apprehensive after we have faced a good D, like the one we face this weekend.

bossFALCON™
And if we manage to beat the Bucs, they'll say, "well, they were old and beat-up."or that they were just rusty. the media may slide us some credit if we pull it off, but i doubt too much. uga2006
Once we contend then and only then will the critics shut up. We still have to keep winning.

Headshot
yeah but it was only the lions. i be a lil less apprehensive after we have faced a good D, like the one we face this weekend. It doesn't matter if it was the Lions, we were supposed to be the absolute worst team in the NFL. People were predicting 1-15, 2-14, so naturally the Lions should have been better right?I love how we're supposed to be the worst team in the league, and then when we beat someone, everyone says, "Oh well it was the Lions, you were supposed to beat them." wahoofan45
regardless of who we played the media has to acknowledge that our young secondary played good against a great pass offense, yeah the lions D-line isnt great but Turner didnt get all those yards on his own. For the most part he wasnt even being touched for the first 5 yards. Ryan...well you cant really tell how great he'll be but he did look composed. Homer Dude Man
I don't mind flying under the radar. Let them talk about just how weak the Lions and not how good we played. If we win against the Bucs this weekend I am sure we will hear about how old they are and on the decline. Let's face it we are in a division that has a history of worst to first. Will it happen again this year? Time will tell. The one thing that I do know is that we are heading in the right direction.
Homer Dude Man
Some anti Falcon junk that I have read from some posters and a few experts is that Turner is a career back up. My first thoughts about them underestimating The Burner is his how he played in his last game as a Charger. LT went down, Turner played very good. Every time that Turner has been called on, he has answered.
ki46dinah
Look at it this way...if we beat the Cowboys like we beat the Lions, people would be giving us props. As it stands, we beat the Lions...who havent had a winning record since...
