capATL
Just for fun, here's a look at the stats from game 1 and what they could project for the season.Ryan had a QB rating of 137.0! His stats after game one when extended to 16 games would be:2576 yards, 16 TDs, 0 Ints, 137.0 QB ratingThe offensive line last year gave up 47 sacks. After giving up 1 in game 1, in 16 games:16 sacks [down from 47]. Last years best team had 16 sacks.Michael Turner with 220 yards rushing would have:3520 yards rushing for the year--enough saidJerious Norwood with 93 yards in game 1 would have:1488 yards rushing for the yearJohn Abraham had an incredible 3 sacks in game 1. That would equate over 16 games to:48 sacks for the season--I don't believe it has ever been done. Now before everyone attacks this, I realize that you can't use one data point to project the future. I find it an interesting way to look at Sunday's game and put some of the performances into perspective. For example, we have talked very little about Norwoods performance on these boards, but he is on a pace to rush for almost 1500 yards--not too shabby. Even if Turner and Norwood would have rushed for around 100 yards each, it would have been amazing, and would project to over 3000 yards for the season.Again, just for fun. GEORGIAfan
well by your logic if we multiple our win record by 16, then we would be undefeated and the colts and Bucs would go winless.wait atleast 3 games before mutipling. thats a huge outlier. Turner will probably get the 1600yrds and i doubt norwood gets that much or turner get over 2000yrds even with how great he has looked. if he does, then we are screwed the next year, since thats atleast 2 seasons in 1 season.
