Duff_Man
the first games announcing wasn't very good, but I love Golic/Greenwood/Ditka, I'm very pleased in them. You all do realize they ARE NOT at the game, right? ESPN needed someone to commentate, and they are doing it from CT studios.

They have been on the TV with a black backdrop in the booth. Golic (left), Ditka (middle) Greeny (right)Greeny has been holding a pen as well. Just keep an eye out for that pen Also, they talked about the pregame ceremony on the field for Gene Upshaw and how the fans reacted to the highlight video they showed on the big screen. I assure you, its not a hoax.

I'd bet a LOT on it. Mike and Mike have a radio show to do. If I am wrong, I am wrong, but I think there is no way they flew Ditka to the West Coast for a game to be the third announcer. Their radio show this morning had guest hosts, as they will tomorrow morning. They interviewed Mike and Mike this morning, and all they spoke about was meeting with the players, the hotel in Oakland, etc. Whatever it is you are drinking, why don't you share it with the rest of us? Just sounds and looks like they are doing the "commentate from elsewhere" thing. It has been done many times before, and will be done again. And what I am drinking is rum. jonnyblooz
Don Solo beat me to it. They had to "Phone it in" this morning due to being in Cali. Even so, I don't see what being in the box vs.. watching on a monitor would matter to their ability to comment on the game. However, They have been commenting on action that took place out of the field of TV view.

Virtual Wild Card
Ehh, it's not for me. There's not enough emotion for me, maybe it's the game though too.
