MARCUS_MARGARITA
I mean I know most of you wanted this guy gone and most of you wants Robinson starting over him, but I mean come on even though it was his only play of the game no one seems to give him that much credit, I mean the guy did burn the Lions Secondary and he did make Ryan look good but where's the love??? Nighteyes
i have a feeling that he will be ryans favorite target til ryan and white get the timing down
triggerman
he made me nervous, with that long gait and he looked like he slowed down, but way to take to the house
WorryWart
That ball so was perfectly thrown, hitting Jenkins in stride, it's hard to give an NFL WR much props for catching the pass. It was a nice run after the catch.
Duff_Man
He out-ran the two DBs like they were hardly running. Good to see! That should go very far for MJ's confidence. I like the way we spread the ball around.

john_winger
He got a couple of steps and Ryan saw it. Floated the pass in there perfectly, and Jenkins did not waste the opportunity. It was a beautiful play. We all know MJ has the talent. He just needs to get his hands on it more, and he'll be awesome. After three possessions, and three TDs, my hands were stinging from the high fives. Duff_Man
I know I may be getting ahead of myself, but does anyone else notice that Matt is reading plays extremely well? He is making some really nice throws. Yesterday, a couple big gainers got tipped, but he made the right reads. The pass to Norwood in the 2nd quarter would have been to the house...Matt saw a crease, and the ball was tipped by an inch. That play WILL work later in the year. Matt just seems to have "it" and knows the field. It is scary how progressed he is already. I know he will have some mistakes, but I think his "learning curve" will be over by mid-next season. Mularkey's ability to get everyone involved will also help. I like what I am seeing.
Remarkable
I was impressed with Jenkins speed. I thought for sure he'd be caught even with a couple steps on the DBs. Now that I think about it the only other time I can remember Jenkins running after a catch was that TD against the Panthers a couple of years ago. He is doing a great job of seeing the field and going through his progressions. My opinion is that he is way ahead of Matt Schaub at the same stage of their careers.Very happy about the situation we are in right now. Brewcrew
I am actually watching this play on the highlight reel during the MNF halftime show as we speak (or should I say as I type). It was a great route, a great pass and great blocking by the line. The thing I love is how quickly it all happened. He ran straight downfield, Ryan spots it immediately and led him perfectly on a rope. I think we will see more and more of this as teams stack the box and try to stop Turner and Norwood. Now that I think about it the only other time I can remember Jenkins running after a catch was that TD against the Panthers a couple of years ago. They have been throwing him button hooks and stuff where he could be 5"10" andit wouldn't matter. He has been stopped and waiting on the ball. Which is how the playsare designed. This td pass is exactly the type of ball he should be catching to utilize his speed and length or as Billy Knight would say his "wingspan". dirtybirdz91
Hey, I give MJ all the kudos for that amazing play. I know its way too early to tell, but I hope this could be a sign that this is MJ's breakout year. At the very least, a sign of good things to come for the team this year. Its funny that great things are happening to us right now while the Pats lose their no. 1 QB, the Colts are really rusty, and the Chargers lost to the Panties, of all teams! The AFC elite are in a really sticky situation(well, I dunno if the Chargers are really in a bad situation, but obviously something isn't right if they lost a game to Carolina), while the (allegedly) bottom of the NFL (us) are shining.
